Hmmm.. you yanks will send me broke, your 30 bucks will turn into 50 for me when it hits the shelvs here in Aussie, not that is your fault it's the greedy pigs here in Aussie  Anyways I'm with Storm.. give me a Tornado or F111 even a EF2000 or Harrier plus good AI and I'd think about it

Nah...i dont want the superHornet... its too new for a game taking place in the 80's...
For the F/A-18C id pay 30 bucks though, assuming you can land it on the ship and it has AG radar...

No disrespect to Carl, Matt and ED but I wouldn't pay for another add-on unless..
There was more atmosphere. Perhaps I am spoiled but I prefer comms playing while I am on a mission something like JF18 or F4. This helps with the immersion. It is far too quiet to keep me playing LOMAC. I always find myself going back to older games/sim or whatever you want to call them.
For instance, hearing the Brits making their commentary during the mission. Just to hear what else is going on in the mission.

Don't get me wrong but if the action in LOMAC takes place in the 80's perhaps you could explain me what are the Su-30 or the Su-34 (between others) doing in LOMAC?

LOL. It may be in the 80s....or maybe not....but the point is most of the missions and scenarios in LOMAC are fictitious. So why not have the SuperHornet in as well, just as we already have the Su-30, 34 etc etc. It's not like we are completely faithful to historical events. As long as we are reasonably within the Modern Air Combat spirit of the game, the SuperHornet should have a place in the sim. My personal preference, of course

If all it is is a new plane, 19.99 at the absolute max. Just a plane isn't worth any more than that. If it's a plane and more scripted missions like in lomac, then 14.99 max. I'm not supporting more of that scripted crap that lacks atmosphere and any feeling of connection or being in a war.
So far falcon 4 is the only sim i've ever played that i've felt like i was there and not just playing some random stupid missions.

No doubt, Jane's F/A-18 was probably the best sim there was on release... with LongbowII a close second. I.e. if you had a system that could somehow run it :p
