will have to check. all the premium channels have on demand, but those were on syfy on Charter cable. They list so many it can be hard to find what you want before you get sucked into something else.
Have you seen the Arrow? WWW

Only Haven is still active, the other two have ended their runs. The final episodes of Haven will air this year and then it's done too.

Blacklist. It's getting hard to keep the same level of writing and story as in the beginning. I still like it, but sometimes they just seem to drop the ball.
I've been watching Game of Thrones. Currently I'm on season three. Dinklage really does a fine job with many instances of subtle acting that show how good he really is. I can't wait until Joffrey gets his come-uppence.

Gone Girl YIKES! Talk about crazy psycho B! Rosamund Pike was nominated for Best Actress for her portrayal of a crazy woman/housewife and I think she will win too! She made Alex Forrest (of Fatal Attraction for those of you who either do not remember that name or were not around in 1987) looks like a convent nun! 6 out of 10 stars

Rosemund Pike was indeed really great in that role.

She was great.
But the ending feels empty to me.
I feel like I ate an expensive 7 course meal and walked away hungry and unsatisfied.

Picked a random film: The Lovely Bones
A thoroughly depressing and occasionally weird film by Peter Jackson.

I didn't see "The Lovely Bones" but I was a bit surprised how it came and went with little fanfare.

Picked up "Mocking Jay" off Itunes the other day. Such a dark concept to this story its hard to keep it all together. Have seen them all but such terrible world evolved to entertain only the wealthy and sacrifice those who try to survive. This time it takes even darker.
Pre-ordered "Intersteller" off Itunes, should be waiting for me on March 17th to watch.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 (2014)
Yikes! I want my 2 hours back!
Katniss was whiny and a cry baby in this!
A far cry from her strong female persona in the first 2 films.
Lawrence's acting was awful too but of course she didn't have much to work with in term of a script besides being whiny and crying.
By the time she cried for Peeta for the 4th time, we have stopped caring for her!
Yes Katniss, we know you are going through a dry spell and you want Peeta but come on, there are other guys around!
I can't believe she'd even agreed to that script - you'd think after 2 films and 100 of millions in box office receipts and Lawrence being the main star of the film, she would had somewhat control of the script.
Now we have to wait for a sequel which is totally unnecessary.
This could had been wrapped up in one 2 hours film instead of 2 hours of crying and pouting and pouting and crying and whining.
3 out of 10 stars.

Just watched the Fargo tv series on Netflix. Wow, what an awesome programme. Highly recommended. The characters, the acting, the story, the directing, the sound. All awesome

Yes that was amazing!
I loved the way it tied in with the movie too with subtle visual references to it here and there!
I am ready for the next season with new characters and going back to Sioux Fall Iowa to look up the female deputy's father (who owns the little diner) old case.

I assume Martin Freeman and Billy Thornton will be in the second season?

Yeah lots of hinting at what happened at sioux falls, really looking forward to it. I assume Martin Freeman and Billy Thornton will be in the second season? Nope, different cast, story and time period. They've said that, if popular, each season will be a different cast and story/case.

Oh, so that's the "new model" for these series then.
At least Freeman and Cumberbatch will be back for S4 of Sherlock. I really wish the BBC would fork out more money so they could have more shows per season.

The Jedi Master I think for the producers of the show and for UK shows in general it's more about "quality not quantity" than about budgetary issues.

The Jedi Master Yup, I believe each season of True Detective is going to follow the same "model" also.

I watched the first 11 min of Night At The Museum Secret Of The Tomb.
I got to the part when they were giving the presentation at the dinner banquet and then the ancient Egyptian tablet started affecting Roosevelt and all the museum characters and everyone went berserk and panic ensued, etc etc
Just more of the same boring mayhem and recycled visual gags that were in the first 2 movies.
Not going to finish watching the rest.
Looking back at my IMDB rating for the first 2 films, I gave each one a 1 out of 10 so I doubt this one would be better if even that than the previous 2 films.

American Sniper.
A really outstanding film and Bradley Cooper was brilliant.
Sienna Miller is not a bad actress but her role could have been played just as well by a bunch of other actresses.

Star Trek - The Motion Picture followed by the 2009 Star Trek film. Wasn't planning to watch them, caught them on TV as part of a Leonard Nimoy 'memorial'. The JJ Trek is quite frankly rubbish (though it has it's good moments) With the exception of Pine and Quinto as Kirk and Spock I thought the acting and dialogue was actually quite good (by Star Trek standards ) Shaky cam, lens flare and seizure lighting made the action scenes a pain to watch. I'd never actually seen TMP in it's entirety before now, only the early scenes with the Enterprise refit. Very underrated film, just settle back, relax and let the film play. Not exactly thrill a minute but a decent plot that builds up well. Some trippy 2001 style visuals near the end too. Edit: Just looked it up, the same guy was responsible for 2001 and TMP http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Douglas_Trumbull
