So after feeling like I was going to die from a coronary after the Red Sox started the season 0-6, they have now won 7 in a row and are .05 games behind Tampa for 1st place in the AL East.
How is your team doing so far?

Did you see the Red Sox uniforms on Saturday night? An all white jersey with no lettering or logos and just a number on the back, and an all white hat with no text or logo. They were throw backs, but I guess those were the prototypes, lol.
As for my Padres, *sigh* not looking good thus far. Now if they would play all of their games on the road, maybe they'll have a chance. Yea right, heh. Baseball is baseball, win or lose, I'm a HUGE fan. Go Padres!!

God I hated those throw back jerseys, didn't help that the Sox self distructed and gave up 8 runs in the 8th after leading 3-1 when the 8th started... Yeah, that was really disgusting what happened but I guess the Sox were due for a loss since they had a 7 game winning streak.

Texas is in there so far.
Some injuries, Hamilton should be back shortly. Young, who's been shuffled around the field the last few seasons and down to DH this season has had just one off day this year, second best average in the AL, IIRC.

I didn't see the game, but heard they were going to play in throwback uniforms of all white. Did they at least have Red Socks? In other baseball related news I just saw Met's catcher Gary Carter has brain tumors. Hope he's okay.

I believe they were throw backs to the 1928 unis. You know, the last time the cubs and sox faced each other in Boston.

Any more news on Marlon Byrd? What a hit to the face by Aceves. My stomach dropped when I saw the news footage tonight.
The first thought of any Red Sox fan was Tony Conigliaro. That didn't end well so I get a bit squeemish when I see this kind of hit.
