Wasn't it like 10 years ago he mentioned his P-47 in the Pac sim idea?
Long before he bought into ROF with 777 when neoqb dumped.
While I like ROF well enough, I'm sad he never go to do that. I hope some day he can get there again.

Yes I licensed the Merlin engine of BOB II: WOV fame and I built a small team and we tried to make a P-47 sim in the Pacific. Didn't work out and my backer bailed so I just went back to publishing and selling other games. Then ROF came along.
That failure was a good learning experience though.
