did you guys notice that other than MP or Virtual Squadrons there is hardly any flight sim website that has any coverage of DCS ? Avsim, Combatsim, Sim-outhouse, LockOnFiles ... one wonders why.
True. Combatace only in the last couple of years has had a mildly active DCS forum. And that's because I finally got one of my fellow mods over there into DCS. Look at the LOMAC/ED download section over there. My work features heavily over there as at one point I was trying to introduce more of the flight sim community to ED's work. But you're right, not a lot of DCS love out there and as a moderator on several flight sim forums it's because people don't like how they're treated on ED's site. I've had people PM me at LOF and Combatace for help and to ask questions because they get treated terribly by Eagle and their "crew". Can't ask a question or make a comparison because the ban stick comes out. LOL.
I've never removed a post nor banned anyone at either of the sites I moderate on because I've always felt that it was better to have a discussion and if the person posting was wrong you could point out the error of his ways. Makes for a better experience and people tend to respond better after that. Sometimes people are frustrated and have a bad day and it comes out on the forums. What's going on over on ED's forums is the equivalent of someone putting their hand up in your face and telling you to shut up. I don't respond well to that in person or on the net. Most others feel the same as I do. Just sayin'.
