Had to delete my cloud saves as they'd repopulated the 'hidden' save folder. All seems well, actually seems to be running smoother and no further trouble with the radio not shutting off. I'm convinced something gave up the ghost and caused the problems I was having. Anyway, a complete clean-up did the trick plus rid me of two pages of save data lol.

Have rolled up a new skipper, Paul Meyer, a cousin of Otmar's, from somewhere in Bavaria (tbd). Graduated Boot Schule in August '39, now commanding U-4, a Type IIA coastal submarine, currently crossing the North Sea towards AN46. I'm going to try playing this in 'real time' and use of the fast clock verboten. We'll see how long that lasts haha.

Leaf85, exactly how did you " Clean Up " the hidden save folder. I looked at the file structure in the U-Boat folder but did not see any " Save " folder, guess that's why it's hidden. I have the GOG version.Thanks your help Skipper.

Hi Ter, the save folder is located on the C: drive-- look for Users, then clic on your user file, inside you need to go to the AppData file, inside that one look for LocalLow, then look for Deep Water. Inside that is a U-Boat file, click on that and you should see the Saves file. It's a bit convoluted to get to but once you're in there you're golden. If you don't see an AppData file under users you may have to set files that aren't visible to be visible. Hope that helps.
