Tango & Cash has a special place in my heart due to fact that it was one of the first movies I saw in my early “serious dating” years.

I really enjoyed Alien Earth but then again I'm a sucker for anything Alien/Predator, good or bad

Just started re-watching Band of Brothers...and last movie I watched was Peckinpahs "Cross of Iron"
I have “Cross of Iron” on dvd. It’s a classic and one of my favorite war movies of all time. It’s a rare gem in that Steiner and a couple of the other German soldiers are actually sympathetic characters. Heck, Steiner is the main protagonist.

Totally agree PM. I read the book the movie is based on a longgggggg time ago, and wish I had a copy of it (had borrowed it from a wargamer buddy of mine). It fills out Steiner's story a bit more, and I'd argue it was one of the better war based novels I've read. Iirc it was 'The Willing Flesh' by Willi Heinrich and published in the 1950's. If you ever come across a copy, well worth reading.
