Another question.
My rifles have gone up 20-30% from yesterday without changing the perk cards.
I am trying to understand what is affecting this.
Fixer is now Damage 84. Yesterday 60. Sniper rifle is now 123. Yesterday 92.
Is it something I carry? Or do level change also change values?

There are a few different things that could have caused this sudden change: 1 Did you take a chem like psychotats or psychobuff which increases your damage output? 2,, Were you on a team where one of the team members was sharing the perk card that increases rifle damage? 3 Did you do any upgrades on your Fixer and sniper rifle at the weapon bench?

The answer is no.
With the exception of a few Stimpaks.
The only option I see is if I have picked up something with the loot. I will probably find that out if the numbers change back I guess.

As I feared, the numbers are now back to "normal". I reached Level 75 late last night. Took longer than expected as the double XP periode must have ended early in the process. It was advertized as a week-end occurrence. I guess the folks over at Bethesda are used to oval week-ends as it ended on wednesday. So for my part it is a day of choice. A new Legendary Perk Card. I have to admit that "ammo factory" card is tempting as I do have problems with ammo. New day, new choice.

That would go a long way toward fixing your ammo problems. But it's a matter of opportunity cost. By picking this you cannot pick that, so choose wisely!
For months now I've been hoping to get a vintage water cooler plan. I read that during the Christmas event this plan is a fairly common drop.

For months now I've been hoping to get a vintage water cooler plan. I read that during the Christmas event this plan is a fairly common drop. We have discussed it before, but I can`t remember if you or Panzer had any suggestions regarding the legendary perk card. I understand "ammo Factory" is ok in short term, but other cards is preferable in the long term. I have been looking for a vintage cooler plan for you as well, but no joy yet. I`ll let you know.

Correct, that legendary card you should only equip when you are going to make ammo and then as soon as you are done crafting you should take it out and put another legendary card in. There's also a regular perk card under the AGILITY category that increases how much ammo you make.

But I was convinced you couldn`t change the legendary perk card?

You can always remove a legendary perk card and replace it with another one but it does cost you 1 perk coin to do that.

You can swap legendary perks by spending one perk point, evidently. That's a late game thing. Just speaking for myself, a perk like ammo factory doesn't bring anything to the table aside from making ammo crafting more productive. It doesn't give you any additional power, skill or ability. It's like a shortcut. Nice to have, but for me that's a wasted pick since I can already craft ammo. I'd much rather make my character hit harder, be tougher, carry more and so on. Same deal with What Rads. Just doesn't do enough to justify since I can already deal with radiation easily. For mutated players I think this perk is key? But that's not me. I think the SPECIAL legendaries are the best ones since they bring more to your build than any of the others. Five additional SPECIAL points/perk slots is powerful. But that is entirely subjective, For ammo crafting I use Ammosmith and Super Duper and that's fine. Lead farming is the key

I
I swap often between What Rads? and the Perception legendary card. As a general rule, when I'm doing rad-heavy events like Scorched Earth, Seismic Activity and Radiation Rumble I will use the What Rads? card. That also means I'm using power armor so I don't need so many points in Perception anyway. When I'm out of power armor though and not doing those events then I have the Perception legendary card equipped. It especially helps a lot of I'm using a weapon that excels in VATS like my repeating rifle, any handgun, any shotgun and the Fixer.

Level 85 now. Minerva will be at Whitespring at 12.00 PM Bethesda time. https://www.whereisminerva.com/I have ben looking for your Vintage Water Tank DBond, but no luck this far. I googled it and it seems it was a special Holiday item. But I will keep looking. Might be someone that sells a plan for it still. I finished the Vault 79 quest. I probably did a stupid choice to award gold to both Raiders and Foundation. I thought it might be smart to play on two horses even if I had made a deal with Foundation. I am not sure if it affects the gameplay though? Crafting rifles: I have plans for Fixer and Handmade now. Only thing I need is one more Gunsmith perk card to craft Handmades. I also need a Science perk card for electronic weapons.

Don't worry about the water cooler. Seems it is a holiday drop as you said, and I have a chance to get it over the Christmas event.
For Vault 79 I sided with the Settlers, but yeah, it doesn't matter much. You can gain rep with both factions, and you've essentially split that between the two and that's fine.

What about the Pitt?
I was in a team doing stuff . After that they were "In the Pitt". I thought I should join them, but I am a bit reluctant because I want to know more about it.
Can you travel between Expeditions? Do a mission in the Pitt and go back to the Wastelands? Is it just 2 scenarios?

Expeditions are not universally loved by the player base. I've not done one so you'll have to tell me what they are all about. Most people seem to think they're worth a go, but not often.
They say you can solo them but best with a team of course.

Trying to solo either of the PITT missions will be extremely difficult and will take a very long time to complete if the player does manage to somehow complete it. The number of enemies that get thrown at you is a LOT and most of them are tough enemies. I don't do a PITT mission unless I have a full team of 4 since that gives you the best chance of completing all of the objectives.

I decided to join the team in the Pitt.
Very confusing and I was a little desorientated in the beginning.
When I followed the directions and sort of learned how to navigate the area we managed to win the session.
Very hectic, but at the same time rewarding if you win.
Not sure I will do it on a daily basis.

In my experience it usually takes about 15-20 minutes to complete a PITT mission and that's with a full team of 4 players. So yes, the PITT missions are long compared to the Events but you get a lot of rewards when you finish one and especially if you get all of the optional objectives.
