The Arisaka ending is called the devil ending for a reason. It's easily the most depressing one and is chalk full of details on how terrible the Arisaka family was, is, and will continue to be.
After 2 playthroughs I can say with certainty that the most disappointing aspect for me is the fact that there isn't much difference between choosing Corpo, Street Kid or Nomad. Those prequel intro segments should have been fleshed out better and had more distinctive story elements.

[CD Projekt RED] Development of In-House Multiplayer Tech Abandoned in Favor of Unreal Engine [5]
You'll undoubtedly remember that CD Projekt RED had promised a multiplayer mode coming to Cyberpunk 2077 before essentially scrapping it. During the earnings call, CFO Piotr Nielubowicz revealed that the studio won't be using the internally created multiplayer technology, relying on Unreal Engine 5's for future projects instead.

The Witcher Jumping to UE5 Because it Won’t “Break in 1,600 Places Down the Line” Says CDPR
CDPR game director Jason Slama admitted that stability and an engine that wouldn’t “break in 1,600 places down the line” was one of the big motivating factors in going with UE5…
In a nutshell, problems with Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk 2077 have caused CD Projekt RED to dump their "in house developed" game development software. They will use Unreal Engine 5, henceforth.
Immediate result: The big Witcher 3 update and Cyberpunk 2077 updates are on hold while they figure out the path to use. They say the delay in updates may be many months not many years.
Unreal 5 is a fantastic looking engine and it’s also very stable so I think they made the right decision.
Having said that, I never had any serious technical issues with either Witcher 3 or Cyberpunk but I played both only on PC. My understanding is that the major problems happened on the console versions.

And that was mostly the older consoles. They kinda shot themselves in the foot with trying to make it work on the PS4 and Xbox One*
Yup. It was a classic case of degrading the product in order to be able to sell it to a wider consumer base.

I'll reinstall and play it for a third time when the DLC is out. I played it most recently when that major update was released earlier this year. I think it was in March?

Modding support and tools are out. Nexusmods will be the repository for created mods.
are you serious ? modders have basically already fixed the game..many things in one of the patches were already available through mods. when was this game released ? and only now they added mod suport ?
**shrug** I've played the game through twice on PC and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I had no show-stopping bugs.

Official mod tools anyway. Modders are always gonna mod, this should make it easier and better for them.

but THEY promised mod tools with the game......and only now that modders basically fixed the game, they are delivering it. modders fixed the car spawn, modders gave apartments, fixed shadow,,wall running, etc......im pretty sure they just looked into it and implemented those into the game later.
At this rate we'll be living in a real cyberpunk dystopia
I call dibs on a cushy corporate job with some high profile Japanese mega-corporation.
