Seems my beloved, simple, and easy M$ Movie Maker doesn't install on my Windows 10 machine... so looking for a similar program that is easy and quick to use, to throw in a few clips, trim them down, put a title and done... any suggestions? Prefer free, but willing to pay a little.

Windows 10 Creators Update is out in a couple of weeks, but I don't know that it has anything like that either. A lot of people were rightly ticked when they dumped that nice program.

I didn't know they were ending support for Live Movie Maker. That's unfortunate. Hope they have something new coming.

Did you look in the Win 10 app store? I see a few, some free, some cheap that look similar to WMM. At least you would know the download is a safe one coming through the store.
