dear hpasp.. im so impresive that why one modern country like hungary still using from 2k12 at this edge of technology !
if tajikistan do it or bulgaria or azarbaijan..yes cause they havent good cash for modern equipment but why your defense organization still use them ?
every one knows this system cant stand alone front of new war waves ...
it was my question.
also.. bbc persian one year ago publish that hungary in 2016 want to use modern western sam and atbm systems
of course bbc persian doesnt talk about sa6 in hungary

OFF Because of the ignorant and corrupt Hungarian politicans, who have devastated the Hungarian Defense Forces, since the regime change around 1990... It's a very sad story...  Nowdays Hungary spend approximately 0,7% of the GDP for the military.   ON

The situation in CZ is the same, we have a hugely upgraded Kub (all-solid-state electronics including radar and digital control), but it is the only true SAM we have. And we were among the first countries to receive the first Dvinas back in the late 50's  Western side was so aware of Vega, that our corrupt politicians ordered to promptly dismantle both Vega sites and to sell the equipment to some foreign buyers. First Vega site lasted about 10 years and the second one not even that "long". Our only S-300 passed to Slovakia, another sad story....

as hpasp said (we ran out frim cold war) its means he wants an evolution in samsim ... of course accsess to modern systems are hard and every body know this ..
hpasp is a normal person like us without any support
so we cant want something supernatural from him
but i love to know about
oldest members in here and samsim developer(hpasp) to discuss about a future (even in theory phase only)

each people knows that hungary and cz upgrade themself in sa6 completly ...
with this upgrades ... we have alot of different in analog sa6 and digital version of it ...
so why you dear (hpasp) cant access to oldest version of sa6 ? i remember oldest sa6 (used against our phantom E by iraq) with maximum 17km range
and im sure there is alot of different between modern sa6 in servise and oldest sa6 in meuseum !

Crazy idea... Lets design our own system for Hpasp to create. All of us would throw in ideas, and we could debate what would go into our system and what not. We could limit ourselves to cold war era technology. And be very thorough... Go into all the details of a missile, radar, everything really. It would be difficult but interesting as #%&*$#!  Maybe Im just wishfull, what do you all think, Hpasp?

Not tried. S-25 could give me lot of work for long time. 2 major system versions, 9 missile types (including 3 nukes  ) ... ... hardly can wait to try unleashing its multi-channel capability at Hanoi...

I'd rather see S-25 first to have Soviet line complete (until Kub will become declassified).
Western systems will be logical step then.
