Can you play this game without doing combat? I just got it and combat is too tough for this old guy. Definitely. Exploring, trading, and mining can all be done with very, very minimal chances of combat most of the time. I've been on an exploration run since August, haven't seen another player ship since probably my 4th or 5th day out.
