Here is some minor Strutter-Issue:

When you are inside the Cockpit, the Speedo-Propeller is missing. When you lean back, so that you are slightly outside of the Cockpit, it appears...

Yes, happens to me, too. Also, if you look down at your instruments from "outside cockpit" you'll notice it will disappear just at the top most edge of the screen. Same thing happens with the Tripe.

Looks like a faulty rendering issue.

I'll guess a model issue.

I noticed last night that mine was also fading in and out of sight as well.

It's a known thing. Originally CFS3 would not show any prop (even main one, as in Phase3). The bubble around the player in the cockpit clips it. We managed to overcome that to show props, but when the smaller ones are much closer to your face it will happen. Some will show like on Pup as it's a bit further from your face. Not much we can do currently.

Duke, it's for the DID campaign. Every new pilot has to fly 3 hours in a two-seater and there aren't that many to choose from.

Ah well there it is then.
Good choice. Looks like pretty damn good aircraft...at least when I am piloting a DIII (Early) against them.

similar problem, but I hope a different solution: I reinstalled to try to get rid of another issue, and now I don't have any prop disks at all in cockpit view, but they are there in external view. I swear everything's the same settings-wise, but maybe I'm missing something? Pov, where would I look to make sure the right files exist, and what might prevent them from showing? I'm running Nvidia, although again I swear I didn't change anything on the card as well as in-game.

Are you sure you installed WOFF and not OFF?

Do you mean the main prop not the small Rotherham prop in cockpit?

Did you alter something? Mods? Is it all craft?

WOFF 2.05-4238

Both main and little (fuel pump?)

I didn't alter anything. I did a reinstall to try to fix my previous issue with 2-seaters spawning 5 ft. above the flight line. I've check a Sopwith tripe, se5a, noop, spad, halberstadt, and a rumpler, and it's all the same - no prop in cockpit view:

but they're there in any external view:

Is that the right checksum (if that's what the -4238 is)? I'd just try another reinstall if I thought that really was the fault, but I think there's something else afoot here.

No idea on that one, unless you have an old video driver maybe? I suggest a total clean uninstall too first did you do that?

Follow section 17 of the FAQ

yup, did a full reinstall. In fact, I ran a flight after installing only the vanilla v1.00, and the props were missing there already, so I'm missing something big system-wise here. I've changed around several different AA settings, in the workshop and in the NVidia control panel without any luck. Is there something in the cfs3 config, maybe in the 'textures' settings window?

btw, anyone who still claims that computers only do what you tell them is full of you-know-what. (otherwise, mine would be in hell, since I have told it to go there several times in the last week).

The rotherham cockpit one appears to be "missing" (although actually it's spinning fast anyway) in Strutter when you are close to it. Otherwise they are all there and outside props are there. If not I don't have much idea they are there for everyone else wink
Update your drivers (may need to clean uninstall those first). Try different settings.

When you clean un-installed WOFF you MUST follow the FAQ carefully - for example don'rt uninstall via other methods.

If you used mods before, then er don' know make sure there are no traces of those.

Thanks for your help and patience, Pol. This time, I printed out that page from the FAQ to have in front of me, and I realized I never deleted the OBD folder in Apppdata. rather than a whole 4th reinstall, I guessed that it was the CFS config overrides, (Which I had set to default!), so I deleted just that, and Bingo! everything is good, incl. my previous problem spawning 5 ft in the air. Thanks again.
