I thought the idea of this thread was to show your best screenshots. If that's your best...you need a new rig.

i have a faster pc but i seldom turn it on. i mostly use a Atom Z3740D Win8 tablet to run fsx (and almost anything else that needs a pc to run). because the graphics are not important for me.
these screenshots are not about the scenery or even the fuselage of the aircraft, but the most special part of a helicopter - the main rotor. in fact the rotors are constructed with simple geometries and materials too , but they can precisely reflect what manveur the helicopter is doing. i enjoy watching a realistically moving rotor than pretty sceneries.

Your pics are making me drool. Can you post your render setup? (DX9/10, shader settings, etc)

I'll assume you were asking me. The F-15 pic is photoshopped as it were. Majority of the rest are stock.

I got the scenery from Flightsim.com.

It was built for FS9, but works fine in FSX; there are just some minor issues the trees, from some angles they can appear a bit reflective, but if you can overlook this, it works fine. The same group has also made a version of RAF Wildenrath, which I might download and install tonight. There are also a couple of remote bases for the Harrier, which were satellite fields to Gutersloh.

The Harrier GR3 is the Wilco model, with a number of minor changes made by myself. Under 21,000lbs you can get a true vertical take off.

Excuse me, where I can download this modification? Seems like the FSX default Bell 206.....

i have a program which attachs objects to an existing aircraft. that helo is indeed the default Bell206 in fsx. so far the program is under development.

Wow FT! This and your Harrier Gutersloh pics are fantastic! Did you download both from AVSIM? I really wish some brave soul would compile all the available military bases from around the world under one site. With my fresh install of FSX and seeing FSX@war maturing, I want to add some military bases just like these you've showcased. I know much of the MAIW stuff ports over and I will look into those too after my TDY next week. Thanks for sharing and inspiring me.

Finally got my addons reinstalled into FSX-SE and had some fun flights with FTX PNW/Rex4/ASX
