...just saw it. Wow. It exceeded my expectations.

Not yet. Found out recently that they built an IMAX theatre near me. Haven't seen an IMAX since I was a kid so I think this will be the right kind of movie for it.

I had a plans for it tomorrow, and male drama in a semi-coed unit (2 girls in the entire batallion) scratched my plans with the girl. I'll go see it Monday when I have it off and can go early when less will be there than on a Saturday.
Definitely watching this in IMAX.

One of the better SciFi movies I've seen in a long time. It's going into the collection, thats for sure! Not a spoiler as such, but I really liked the sudden, almost shocking cuts to the silence outside of the ship. There's something eerie about violent collisions and explosions unfolding in total silence. Nicely done, more of that please

They had a trailer for Interstellar when we went to watch Fury, it really wetted my apatite, they even were showing some of the behind scenes during the trailer, man those IMAX cameras are big  The nearest Imax cinema is in Eindhoven which is a country away but the tickets are good value compared with our local cinema �12 for the Imax or �12 for our local normal cinema. https://www.pathe.nl/film/18722/interstellar#agenda

Leaving in about half an hour to see it in IMax! By the way, after making my online ticket purchase, it said "You might also like to see:" 50 Shades of Grey. WTF kind of movie is Interstellar again?

Just got back from it. Quite a mind trip. Enjoyed it. I never saw the bookcase bit at the end coming. I didn't expect Cooper to make it back to Earth either, but in many ways, he did. Also, nice to see the HOTAS Warthog. I poked my wife's shoulder and said "that's my flight stick!"

Ah, IMDB did not put Damon's name in the initial cast list - you have to click on the "Complete Cast" list and there he is. I'll still spoiler protect this since it was a nice surprise when he came out of that hyper-sleep chamber.
