I would buy FC3, not sure there is an advantage to buying the individual ones right now.
Nothing is needed for FC3 anymore either... you dont need an older version. Cool.. Purchased! BeachAV8R

Two A-10s just buzzed the house at about 500 feet agl or so. It's been a while since I saw them. There is never any warning. So I never get the camera ready.

To my surprise we experienced a crash on it tonight... never crashed on that one (that I know of.)

Going to be running the GPC Mission 2...
Hunt down the artillery shelling a local town. Once that's complete find a garrison of enemy troops maintaining a defensive position in a town around Gali and destroy them as well. Upon completion, land some troops in that town to take it back and achieve victory!

I'm thinking a Fly-In in August, Saturday the 9th? Delay to September, more prep time?
Comments about Fly-Ins? What is liked, what could be better? We've had a few over the years, with consistent success.
Should we do a few missions on a Friday and a Saturday ? A Firehouse mission to complete and then a Hollo Pointe mission next? A set program of missions on one server?
Looking for ideas,,,

The new Fog Of War mission on Hollo Pointe has Red & Blue Game Masters, also optional Labels. It occurred to me during development that just maybe folks would like to have Labels as an option in an advanced mission. The mission is mostly for Combined Arms and Red Su-25Ts. Hueys are there for the Blue, but the fog is pretty bad. The ground forces are pretty well balanced. Try playing a Game Master slot to see what you can do. There are Red Su-25As and Blue F-117s available for Combined Arms control. --- The DCS World Combined Arms has had a lot of great coding built into it. Or, at least, has great coding behind it -- sit in a battlefield vehicle and observe the action -- and sounds -- fantastic stuff.

Was trying to get a little creative with my ladder door art on my A-10C and start thinking of ways to have "packages" I've talked about before that regulars to the server could install easily enough. We've talked about it before- wasn't too sure where to go with it. Anyway- A little OT from the overally thread- but I've always liked the whole "Rescue Ink" idea... a bunch of big tough guys travel around and rescue neglected and abused dogs- not to mention other pets. One of my favourite logos ever made was their little pitbull pup with the big spiked collar on it. So while I was half dreaming up door art I started plinking away on PS and looked into the organization a bit more. I bumped into their donate page and realized that I've spent 10 bucks a month on much, much sillier things- so I signed up for 10 bucks a month. RESCUE INK DONATE PAGE Figured hmmm... well... when I was running things on the server with a bit more regularity regulars would ask if they could pay anything like one time good will gestures (and in some cases did gift me pretty awesomely- cough- Gordo... where is he anyway?) and I would generally decline (how can you say no to an aussie? Guess I'll ask Robin Moore). I'm sure we're all giving generously to those causes that mean something to us- If it's the same out there as it is at home and at work, people are constantly wanting money for something. So when I put this up- it isn't with any expectation but... felt kind of neat to think maybe a couple of poochies would be better off on account of a few good folks from the firehouse putting a little money down for the cause. I'll probably get sued for using it- but I have good intentions.  If guys can think of any neat ways to encourage support... I'm open to ideas.

Okay well sweetest has already made me change a couple parts of it so that's good- she has good perspective on such things. Also I had a thought about the whole donation thing- in line with the personalized aircraft. The file with that artwork on it (that will be supplied by the username Ryan Barnes on the ED side- who also created this marine corps version http://www.lockonfiles.com/files/file/2834-usmc-tribute-hd-weathered-by-ryan-barnes/ ) Could be provided to those who donate to the cause. Sort of a badge of recognition to others with the same- also good for screenshots and other promotional things. I don't know- maybe I'm just going too far with it but being a dog lover I have to admit the opportunity to raise a little money for the cause gets me amped. It's a fricken ghost town in here lately! Gordo? Einstein? Wheel? Wheel- you ever get your springs sorted out with that stick? Gordo- have you taken over the world yet? Einstein... Einstein?! Xray? Wesley? Lucky (now there's a guy I haven't seen for awhile)... PETETHEHATCH!? Common you MUST still be out there! Blind near / turkey / wild? Slowhand?

HEY! I'm around, although life like to be a little cruel and toss a lot on my plate all at the same time! I was in a cycling accident - in which I gave myself major road rash. We "rescued" my sister (and two kids under 2yrs) from an abusive fianc� who decided to grab me by the throat and we've gone ahead pressing charges. I'm close to leaving Canadian Tire and going into an apprenticeship to be an Electrician - to which my present manager highly encourages, however my departure will be akin to the iceberg that sank the titanic (and any Canadian knows CT's are run like a Titanic approaching the iceberg). I've gotten myself on a bit, after dusting the hotas off. With the new Nvidia drivers and 1.2.8 I am getting more stable, but much lower framerates. Playing with the settings hasn't yielded any significant changes. I get 20-30fps ballpark unless I have the TGP zoomed out and peering off into the distance. I would REALLY like to try out the GC update, play as a SAM with Radar and gamemaster. Did some formation bombing aswell as repeated alternating strafing runs with a friend on a practice mission tonight......I can still hit targets with the gun and CCIP!

Working on the best angle... need a little help making it look "right" but I'm getting there...  Another area I think would work is just below and slightly aft of the insignia... there's a blank panel there that might be perfect. A couple more...
