Is Rome 2 fixed now? I only heard the horror, the horror, I tell you at the initial release.
Also, has anyone played Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion? The trailer looks great and it's 8 bucks.

I just bought Batman: Arkham City GOTY plus Dishonored GOTY. The latter I'm mainly interested in seeing how the city looks. It seems to be taken from China Mieville's "Perdido Street Station".

Rome 2 has had 12 patches so it is a vastly improved game over the initial release. It's currently 50% off so I think you should get it.

I play Sins all the time and it's a really fun game to play either head to head or cooperatively. Unfortunately there's no single player "campaign". All you can do is play custom scenarios against the AI.

Imagine a steampunk Victorian-era city. That's what Dishonored looks like.

I got sins as well. Happy to have a co-op one day, but I am still very basic in understanding it.

Thanks a lot guys. Yes, Steampunk, Victorian, plus squalid and somewhat twisted, would describe "Perdido Street Station" well.
"Sins" - there's no campaign? That's disappointing (though for 8 bucks, shut the F up, FSM). I just assumed it would play through that way. Perhaps the earlier, non-expansion game offers one.
Must do a quick google.
Rome 2 - I was poised to buy it when I reminded myself of the fact that I expressly do not allow myself to play TW games anymore because I know for a fact that they suck me away from reality every single goddamned time I try them. I love them, just love them, and therein lies the problem.

Yup, I know the feeling quite well. I put in over 1,000 hours of game time with Shogun Total War 2 and I already have over 700 hours of game time with Rome 2.

Now that, my friend, is a pretty pair of games. Both are so excellent in so many ways.

If you get FC3, do you have to use DCS World on Steam or can you link the sim to ED's site?

If you buy it on DCS it CAN'T be activated on Steam anymore.
