Folks,
When browsing threads on this site, and only on this site, I keep getting re-directed to "update.flashes-player.us" Then a file automatically downloads which then triggers a warning on my anti virus as it is clearly dodgy.

Any ideas how to stop it, I've got anti spy/malware which I have to then run to delete offending file.

Assuming your system isn't infected with something, a quick "solution" is to add that hostname to your hosts file and point it to loopback.

Edit c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts as an administrator and add this entry (doesn't matter where but at the bottom makes it easier to read):

update.flashes-player.us 127.0.0.1
