While Stiller's films might have made more money, I don't think anyone would argue that he's a better performer than Danny Kaye was.
The Jedi Master QFT! Danny was not only more talented, but more versatile.

However, the end of the film freaked me out even then. First the little "help me!" and then Vincent Price smashing it with the rock... yeah. an all-time classic sci-fi horror scene.

Desolation of Smaug. Liked it, although only half the film was based on the book and the rest was from other sources or invented. Never realized how big Smaug was supposed to be!
Pacific Rim. Ok, although I felt the film could've done with a little less action and a little more story as it seemed they had come up with something worth exploring more.
Oh yeah, and what's the tendency to hire actors to use accents different from their own? The star of the film was British, but he had an American accent. Then they had Americans speaking like Aussies, Brits speaking like Aussies...just let these people use their own and make slight script changes to accommodate them.

The only Japanese films that really interest me are from Akira Kurosawa.

Despicable Me 2, far funnier then the first. Watched that last night and I have to agree. 
If you watch Jaws backwards, it's a heart warming story about a shark that spits out so many people that they have to open a beach.

You don't need to be scared, you just need to feel horror.
For instance, a film consisting of nothing but love scenes between Bea Arthur and Art Carney circa 1995 I would call a horror film.

I don't think I've laughed so much at a movie for a long,long time.
I didn't know who Melissa McCarthy was except she is one funny lady.
