Also need to look at TeamSpeak Overlay again, I had it on, but it's all the way on the Left screen, I had Set the Position values to make it on the left side center screen, but it stays in the same spot regardless of coordinates. So I Turned it Off Is anyone else using TS Overlay? Last I heard it was causing crashes in some games so I never bothered to give it a go.

^^^ Neat stuff! When I retired last night there were 8-9 Clients in the Firehouse on The Highway!
I did get most all the changes done on the Cross. Started it up and directed some Red forces to give them a beginning advantage, and then left it to run.
Hope to join in for some flight time tonight.
WC Highway was definitely a challenge, but a welcome one, with the new air defenses. Darn Shilka's got me 2 times before I became the wiser. Bast and I spent a majority of our time defending the convoys from arriving to their destination airport. It was good to have some solid teamwork between the KA-50 and A10. Last night was the 2nd time I've seen a fellow named Near_Blind It may be a little confusing on TS when we're both on.

TS3 dropped off the face of the earth for us tonight. I've been getting dropped randomly during the games as well- very annoying. If that keeps up I'll probably go back to running my own TS3 server as well. If I do that I'll be posting that information on the main page.
Had a good time tonight with the new Highway- though there were some connectivity issues. I think the number of vehicles creates longer load times for some people... but those who were patient made it in eventually. Hey, Eno, I had to connect to Hollo Pointe a few times last night through Teamviewer to upload files - and every time, I got a warning that the computer list would be refreshed when available. But because I had the HPt connection ID in the Connect To field I was able to get to the machine. So maybe something was going on with Internet traffic last night. This morning all was fine on TV. Maybe that ^^^ is the issue with the delayed logins you all were seeing last night. But you might want to open up The Highway and delete any embedded .miz files in it - they may be bloating the top-level mission file. You will need to reset the Reload Mission trigger afterwards... Hmmmm that's right- do I just open it with notebook++?
I've had the overlay on and have been getting more crashes in dcs- coincidence? I'll turn it off and see.

i think it might be why it's crapping out on you. i dont run the overlay, and I dont crash, but I also dont see who's talking (i need to setup and run another screen outside of Eyefinity and leave TS3 and stuff on it.)

Hmmmm that's right- do I just open it with notebook++? Change the mission file's extension to '.zip' and then open it with 7zip or something like that. Delete the embedded .miz file, save the mission file and exit 7zip. Then rename the mission extension back to .miz. Open it in the Mission Editor and Save, then reset the Reload mission trigger, and Save and exit the Builder. ^^^ That's no mole hill, it's a PITA. WC

Holy crap- no kidding. But... Definitely a problem so ill chew on that. I think a lot of guys came in and left because of the load times... Guys who were on ta3 stuck it out with some cohersing but a lot of guys came in and just wouldn't get through the uploading of mission files. I'll bet that's the issue. Blind- I'm taking to calling near blind "near" and you "blind." Worked so far! The overlay doesn't work properly anyway. If a guy leaves and comes back it doesn't remove him from the list... It just adds his name again. I hade 4 entries for penguin and most of the time it barely even shows that someone is talking. I think on one occasion I saw someone turn up in blue while they were talking... Otherwise it was just a slightly lighter yellow text that I couldn't even distinguish. Even then half the time I was probably imagining it. AND it ruins your screenshots. I don't recommend it. I'm thinking of asking if goud would be okay with setting us up with a firehouse / hollo pointe server setup with red / blue sub sections in ts3. Any thoughts from mods / members? Another update from Wags on 1.2.3... "After implementing further changes / improvements to 1.2.3 network play, we have solved several issues; however some instability persists (it seems particularly with the FC3 aircraft). The team will now evaluate this weekend's test results and prepare a new internal test version later in the week. Like you all, we hope the next build will provided the network stability we all desire." Ugh. On another note- please reply to this post so that I can change the thread title accordingly!

Nevermind. For some reason I thought I could only change the thread title that way but I could change it by editing the first post. Sorry!

I dont use the overlay, i usually just use the LCD on my G15 keyboard. That has issues with DCS though at times.

Nice! I didn't realize that my tire was blown or I wouldn't have attempted that landing. Ended up not doing too bad with it and parked it on the grass without cratering the runway for the rest of the team :-)
That was my first time really flying online in A-10C with any number of people. Great cooperation!

Great pics, Gordo!
I missed my typical tuesday night playing. Wish I could have been up there with ya'll. I was hoping to play tonight but we're having people over. I'll just have to wait for Thursday I suppose.

I wouldn't worry about embarassing yourself - there are plenty of experts at that here (myself included ). Even the 'hotshots' do it now and again. No names, no pack drill

Geez, mission design flags are soo literal. Shirley's Cross is about ready for Prime Time. Many iterations of the mission over the past few days... lots of logic concerns about the points structure of the mission. Was in tonight playing Red Ground Commander and watching a few others in the mission - Hellrequiem and I were trying to control the same forces in different ways - I would direct them one way and a few minutes later they were heading in the opposite direction. tomcat was flying different a/c and kept triggering message events in zones that should have only been affected by ground units. And of course, the occasional missing flag that brings into question my ability to track it all... LOL tc getting harrased by a Tunguska - Red ground forces firing on Blue BLF Scouts - ...version 600 --- WC

Eno - The Firehouse has had such participation over the past few days - I'm seeing 10+ Clients in many of the missions. Really encouraging!

I like the Combined Arms aspect. There should be a 'Player Can Drive' at the group level so the mission designer doesn't have to uncheck the box for each unit - now that I say this, if any one unit in a group has that off does it affect the group? That needs better indicators. RDR dogs intercepting the Blue puppies - Red went above the military crest - ooops - Shirley's Cross coordinate is the green smoke marker - Red group against the Blue scouts out of Krymsk - firing to BLF units south - the audio is fantastic down on the ground - Mission success playfulness. I think the boys are in the tank. Hey, take that any way you wish! (^^^ she looks happy tonite)Version 603...
