Airdale, 3rd class Petty Officer (AZ3), served at Andrews NAF 1964-1966, NAF Brunswick Maine 1966-1968, Crew member in a P2V Neptune, we deployed to Naval Air Station Sigonella Sicily, Rota Spain, Rosie Rhodes Puerto Rico, and probably some places I forgot. Just hunted Russian subs.
Luckily I avoided combat, unlike many who were not so lucky at that time of our history.
