Has anyone got round this. Basically, if i lean forwards the zoom (or z-axis) moves a little closer to the dash but not enough to actually see the instrument readouts (full relaism mode). IL-2 CloD also does this annoyingly.

DCS:xx let me view things as closely as i damn well please.

You can tweak the z axis in TrackIR can't you ?

It might be, but it feels like an ingame limit. I will twiddle tonight. I dont want to be forced to fly in console mode just to read the bloody dials!

Yeap, that also happens to me. The way I that found to use and click in the buttons that aren't acessible thru looking with TrackIR is:

1- Pause TrackIR (the default key is "F9")
2- Press the "*" key to activate in-game mouse look
3- Use the mouse to look and press in the desired ("of limit") button(s)
4- Press the "*" key again to disable in-game mouse look
5- Un-pause TrackIR (the default key is "F9")

Probably not the most desirable solution but at least it works (at least for me it work). I hope this helps...
