Hey fellow pile-its! It's almost the weekend of the first A-10C virtual Fly In, courtesy of the 104th Squadron and SimHQ.

104th_Moa provided a Mission Schedule as a guide of what to expect over the weekend. We will follow up this post with another that will have the links to the Mission Briefings. I've seen some of these briefings and they are excellent. Some of you may be familiar with the missions hosted on the stallturn multiplayer server - that is where I met 104th_Moa. This all got started because I've enjoyed flying his multiplayer missions.

I can't wait to see how the weekend turns out. My weekend starts this Friday, Colorado time, as I have the day off. Missions are scheduled over four days!, not just on Saturday. So climb in your jet, flip on the Battery Switch and join all the others who will be here for some fun flying cooperative missions.

Here are 104th_Moa's comments about this schedule:
I've tried to put Operation Rampant Bear and Fulda Gap near peak times as these scale well to both small groups and large groups (even a large group should take 3 hours to do everything in Rampant Bear).

This is not meant to be a straight-jacket in any way. If a mission is going slowly but people are enjoying themselves then leave the current mission going until they complete. Similarly, if people are asking for another mission then put that on. The list given is in case you are asking yourself what mission you should start next - the list ensures that people won't have the same mission over and over again.

If there is room in the rotation please add the mission "Operation Nightmare" if you would be so kind. It is a mission that 104th_Manawar created for the our dedi server. It has been very well received so far and Manawar is putting the finishing touches on it now. We would love to use it in this event if possible.

I don't recognise some (all) of these missions - I presume I need to get them somewhere?

Here is the link to the Mission Briefings that we have so far. We may get one or two more the pdf files but if not, there is always a briefing to read when you join the multiplayer server.

When your are in the DCS A-10C sim and click on the Multiplayer choice, you will have to log into DCS with your account to access the multiplayer server list.
