I just downloaded the HistorX GT&Touring mod.

I have an install question: Is the GTL disc required to install? I have it, but hope it won't do any funky install of StarForce on my PC.

For those with experience w/ this install, please advise on what goes on. Thank you!

Also, I have a wide array of 3rd party cars for GTL (actual historic GT40 cars, vice modern restored cars). Do these work in the HistorX mod?

Hey Chunx, The CD check is for verification purposes only. It doen't do anything funky. HistorX is just a massive rF mod so any GTL cars will stay with GTL but there's a great selection to chose from.

By 3rd party cars I mean skins for existing cars w/in GTL's original selection. They just come with a separate file, thereby making them a new car vice just a skin. Hopefully at least the skins will work in the game, in the way you can have alternate skins for cars in rFactor.
