But if I detested it as much as the haters spamming this forum I would of course have thrown it away in disgust a long while ago, like any reasonable person. And buggered out of this forum. Lets be non-provocative and nice for a moment, honest question: Would you seriously expect people to shelve or throw away a game they paid top dollar for? I think it's a fairly natural customer reaction to cause a stink in whichever form possible when what you paid for does not do as advertised. I actually was able to recently return a game - for money! - in a store because it behaved not as it said it would on my hardware. With platforms like Steam the only recourse a buyer has is to cause as much bad image as possible for the company until the problems are fixed. So, really honest question: Do you expect guys like Werner who paid for it to go away and chalk it up as loss? Top dollar? Hardly. Any grown MAN exepts the fact that sometimes things just isnt what was expected, for whatever reason, and move on. What a grown MAN does not do, is constantly whine like a 5-year old over and over and over. Period. Let me put it this way, i run my own buisness, if i would have counted all the time/hours i have had to trawl thrugh the same whining in countless threadhs looking for usefull information i would say that i LOST way more than 50 bucks in lost income. Sounds like a reasonble way to look at it? Not really, just like the endless repetition whine threadhs.

It is interesting to observe what individuals let slip when they post to a forum while "hot under the collar". There is likely a pro-business bias behind the penchant certain posters have for the personal attack.It is as though the "whiner" generates an instant flashback to customers they have wanted to throttle. The forum can represent opportunity for them to vent their frustrations without consequence. If forums were pro-gamer they would reject individuals who specialize using that tactic literally thousands of times over. As in auto showrooms the customer is golden until the contract is signed.

I set the time to 18:00hrs in one of my FMB missions, the view was breath-taking. After slaughtering some Wellies I crash-landed my 110 in a poppy-filled field, near some houses, and sat for five minutes in an almost zen-like state of relaxation. The only thing missing was the sound of the breeze that was stirring the trees. A bit of rain...ah, if only. I'd pay money for a bit of rain. The terrain is absolute art, it truly is. You just have to get to see it at it's best, maxed out and at the right times of day.
This was a few weeks after it was released. A company couldn't buy good publicity like that. Who was that masked man?
A clinical state of forced positivity, partly caused by the reaction of going to an actually semi-functional game from an 5fps slideshow and the psychological stress of being constantly heart-broken at what we'd been sold. I admit it, it was a severe rebound straw-grasping moment of mental imbalance. You know, like when Chinese water torture is stopped kind of thing. You should hear me when I've had half an hour of RoF after five minutes of CoD, you'd think Michael Angelo had been in decorating my computer.

In Sssssnakes defense, he may not used to a high-volume forum like this - the posts are flying furiously here, and it's easy to miss things - it must be disorientating and confusing if you're used to a much quieter area of SimHQ.

Yep, Dano, I'd beep beep beep and reverse out of this one.
The pile-on is enjoying/furiously angry that it's not there, while the point that Dano probably can't be bother to fight (and who has the time eh?) is that it's a bug with the broken full-screen implementation.
The fact that full-screen is bust is another comedy topic (or that the internal AA is poor), but it's related to FSAA-as-broken-bug rather than 'COD has to run in tiny window, ha ha, my team wins' or something.

ive got full screen working but FSAA isnt:) Now do you think that this a bug or that COD will never get FSAA working, like ever? Do you think it will be like WoP's mission builder and dedicated server support, where they won't do it for this release and perhaps put it to a sequel? I was idly trying to explain that the recent full screen stuff might be related to why FSAA wasn't working, but the noise from the disco on the grave is too off-putting.
