Errrrr... I know the Hurri was known for its relative toughness and ability to withstand more damage than a Spit and still make it home ... BUT: That's just not right ... How does he roll in such a controlled manner? It looks like he still can excercise aileron control when his ailerons should be somewhere at the bottom of the Channel. But then again: Dunno what the realism-options were set to or in fact what kind of realism-combinations are possible. This looks like "damage on" plus "UFO-FM on" ... if this is what's possible on "full real" indeed S.

Love it - I guess that makes me what - a Hurripedophile? O noes. On a serious note - there used to be a beautiful wake in Il2 when flying extremely low over water - is that just disabled or gone for good? As for the sounds, both engine and crash - well, everything has been said, I guess.

Life shouldn't be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body! Better to skid in sideways, cheesburger in one hand, martini in the other, body worn out, screaming "WOO HOO, what a ride!"

It's early, this sim will keep improving. The thing that bothers me the most is a few of the planes have identical external sounds as IL2's. The internal sounds are great, but they need to update these sounds.
I know Luthier stated no sounds were reused but if you were to run those sounds side by side they are exact.
Hopefully this gets improved, I can't wait to fly this sim!

It's early, this sim will keep improving. Early? This thing's been in the works for 7 years. And call me presumptous, but the FM is kinda the heart of a flight-sim. I guess repeating that mantra won't change the fact that a plane with both wings shot off ... oh well, why do I even start ..? The thing that bothers me the most is a few of the planes have identical external sounds as IL2's. Yup. It may be my ears, but that's pretty much how I see it as well. If there is a difference between the old and new sounds, maybe you need the hearing of a Mozart to pick up on it. In any case: It doesn't sound anything like the real thing (no supercharger-whine on the 109s for one thing). In-cockpit sounds seem nice though. S.

Somebody please tell me this is on the easy settings...
I refuse to buy a flight sim that I have no interest in playing, on the off chance that MAYBE someday they'll make the one I really want to play.

Heh, looks like a bug with the DM not updating the FM.

Could it be that it lost its wings as an AI plane and the player took over the controls and his settings were on no damage/vulnerability etc.?

Thats the kind of maneuvers I get when using rudder and elevator only. Problem here must be something with FM and DM coordination indeed, FM seems to have understood that he has no Ailerons, but forgot about the wings which generates the lift, might be easy difficulty, might be bug, who knows?
Allthough IL-2 1946 w/sound mods clearly beats CoD in audio respects, the graphics looks darn nice I gotta say!
Reminds me of that time I flew OFF P2 online with some buddies, smashed into one of them and had a heavily damaged top wing I think it was, with canvas flapping off we managed to nurse our D7`s RTB style!

Is it so hard to read the goddamn description under the youtube video ? 'Full-real settings' You're destroying what little hope people have. You're taking away that little clutch of Straws people love to grab at dammit I better insert the I'm sure it will be patched out etc here. So there, it's inserted.

Looks fine to me - I always liked the Hurricane! Seriously though, it's a big engine and I bet we'll find a bunch like this. Just see the funny side - we should have a competition for the best bug!

Since the RAF are gettting these aerial torpedoes, can I bring my Ohka/Baka? Slap on some RAF-roundels on there, et voil: Instant Hurri-pedo (well, almost). No need to shed your wings before setting off on your *real* mission ... S.

Quite amusing. If that's full real as the video says it is, then I really hope that gets fixed fast. QA team? Modders? (we need a superhero dedicated to fixing major gaming flaws)
