So I got my Thrustmaster HOTAS Warthog now I'm looking for a good set of rudder pedals, any suggestions?

I love my CH pedals, never tried anything else tho. But they're quite solid

Hi, I've also heard CH pedals should be good. I'm using my G25 racing pedals for rudder and wheel brake. Not as good as rudder pedals but it works fine.
I will ignore all ideas for new works and engines of war, the invention of which has reached its limits and for whose improvement I see no further hope.

I've been using Saitek Pro pedals for two years now, very happy with them. Precise, good 'feeling'.

I have owned both CH and Saitek pedals. I found both sturdy and reliable. My preference is for the Saitek due to the wider stance of the pedals. Much more like real life pedals.

Depending on your budget you have a few good choices which have already been suggested.
Alternatives are the Simped range which are very good but quite expensive. Also don't discount the old Thrustmaster RCS or Elite pedals which pop up on EBay; you can either buy a cheap 15pin to USB adaptor on EBay for about �10 or buy Cubpilots excellent hall sensor kit which replaces the standard pot.
Until I got my RCS pedals working with my WH I was using the throttles separated and juggling thrust to steer on takeoff/landing. It actually worked quite well.

Question to anyone... Can you buy JUST rudder pedals to go with the Warthog Hotas or do you have to buy a Hotas set (Saitek, CH, etc) that comes with rudder pedals?

I have a set of Saiteks pedals, they are completely standalone, no other hardware is required to use them.
I can recommend them too, Vital for Black shark.

Don't forget that Saitek has a new set of Combat rudder pedals that should be available soon. Not sure about the release date, but they retail for about $199. visit http://www.saitek.com/uk/prod/compedals.html for info. I currently have a set of CH Pro Pedals, while my big brother uses the Saitek Pro Pedals. The only complaint I have with the CH Pedals is the width (they're really close together). That said, I'm holding out for the Combat pedals. Anyway, good luck with your new purchase. EDIT: rumor is that the pedals will be released around the end of November. So... still in time for your Christmas needs, if they fit your budget. --T
