Thanks Rowan/Dave.... Jib01 Not easily, ... apart from the flight models / aircraft / Multiplayer / 3D / campaign / landscape etc... :-_ I think the campaign engine got most of the changes... Dave

Woah! That would be awesome! "Pound him lead, pound him!" Hey guys, long time no see. I have been deep into Lightning 3 with it's very cool mission designer ;HARMS; and tactical Nukes {yes, sometimes you just need to "nuke 'em!" }, Jetfighter IV with REAL Su-47s! Maneuverable yes, but as stealthy as a barn door And Conquerors Expansion for Age of Kings. Also, three cheers for PM Tony Blair since September 11. Eloquent as always and a true friend to us. Nice match last night on BOB vs. a flight of 109's. I sure missed that Merlin rumble Have a nice weekend, Squiffy.

My freakin' God. I had just about given up on this sim except for quick dogfight scenarios. If Rowan could do this, that would be wonderful!
If it is done, I recommend fixing the campaign first. I just don't understand fixing the MP code if the campaign is still broke. Make the campaign stable then fix the MP code.
Other options have been discussed, but one other might be eventually making it DX 8.1 compliant or if there is a really industrious person out there with too much time on his or her hands, make it DX8.1 native. After seeing what has happened to F4, I know that it can be done.
Man, I am giddy!

How hard would it be to enable panning with a mouse as in BOB?

I'm running it with Dx8a with no problems.

Wolf,
I was referring to allowing MA to take advantage of some of the new advances in 3d rendering a la the GF3 for example. I have MA with DX8 right too. I would just like to take advantage of more of what it has to offer.

Thanks for clairyfing,I heard about a couple of folks that were having trouble to get MA to run under Dx8 and I thought you might be having the same problem.I have a feeling with them it was a driver conflict more than anything else.

Make a working 'Return-to-Base' command so I have some aircraft left for my next planned mission. Then take a look at other suggestions like Multiplayer, etc ------------------ Hengist. Hengist's MiG Alley Site

This is some great news Rowan! Mig Alley is one of my favorite sims and it is definately deserving of some attention. I imagine all kinds of possiblilities for this game. So, are there plans to organize a group similar to the BDG for Mig Alley? I sure would love to get involved with this project. DD, Rgr Out
