My Lions did ok-ish that season, but I think the suffered because Sanders had retired. Charlie Batch was the QB...loved watching him play...that man would have been a star up in the CFL with his athletic ability, but he went on to be like 3rd string with the Steelers. Oh well.

They finally redempt themselves last year against the Patriots for Super Bowl XLIX 2015 when the Patriots cheated and took away the Seahawks' win in the final 26 seconds of the game.

Yeah, that was with Fiedler. Marino had a Hall of Fame 17 year career but by the end his knees were totally shot so he retired after the 1999 season.

Both Dan Marino and Barry Sanders retired without a single Super Bowl ring.

We came back from 10-0 to lead 13-0. New England was within field goal range to tie. Their QB threw a pass for a TD, it gets picked in the end zone with 13 seconds left.We win first game of the season on the back of our back up QB.
Remember the Sea Birds are the World Champions. We won the Super Bowl in February 29-13 over the dishonest Patriots.
