I respect that NFB. Marriage is not for everyone, although for me it worked out great. Wife is a wonderful wife and mother and gave me 4 beautiful children. Guess I am one of the lucky ones, been married for 50 years. To each his own.
Considering the divorce rate in the US, I’d say marriage is not for the majority of people.

Ridley Scott has made some great films and also some completely forgettable ones.

Went to see "Wrath of Khan" at the theater yesterday, they played the TOS episode "Space Seed" first. At the 2:35 showing my wife and I were the only ones there.

I got to see Wrath of Khan only once on the big screen and that was back in 1982 with my dad.

Been watching Ted Lasso. I went in totally blind, except for hearing that some writers say they wish they had written it. I had no idea it was football (soccer) focused, I have no interest at all in it, but I stuck with it.
It's a fish-out-of-water comedy-drama about a goofy US football coach who has been drafted into coaching a failing UK soccer team, despite not knowing anything about the game. Doesn't sound too interesting, but the force of his character really is the driving, erm. force.
I have to say, as initially skeptical as I was when I found out it was somewhat soccer-centric, I think it might be the best television I've seen in 5 years. By episode 3 I was locked in. By episode 5 I was invested. It just made me feel good.
First season is a ripper. Second season is a little blander but still has peaks. I'm about to start season 3. Highly recommend.
Best to go in blind IMO.

Ted Lasso is a good show. The dart episode early in S1 is great writing.
Watching Reacher season 4 now. Better than the last season!

I like it when a show that I enjoy wins awards, but I have never cared enough to watch an awards show.
The last full Oscars show I watched was around 2015. I have never watched a full Emmy’s show, only highlights in the news.

Unforgiven, not the Clint Eastwood version, but the 2013 remake with Ken Watanabe. Kinda great actually, they did a good job. Takes place in 1880 Hokkaido. Unnecessary, probably.
Meh, Seven Samurai and Yojimbo were remade into Hollywood westerns so we’ve just come full circle.
