Yes. I too do nose and ears hair fairly often.

My eyebrows basically don't grow anymore -- except for a few random hairs that really get going and have to be individually snipped.

Underarm hair has been entirely gone (zero hairs of any length) for many many years now. My underarms never even sweat or stink like they once did -- even during exercise on a hot day. I don't need or use deodorant.

I still have Chest hair -- like all "real men".

Growing Old is a Blessing, I have outlived some of my friends and people I was used to seeing on a daily basis, it never gets any easier

I'am not sure getting old is a blessing KRT and F4 except in the sense I am one day closer to God for making it through another day. Getting old is not for wussies. I have 4 doctors appointments for this just January alone 2026 alone. Eye doctor for annual checkup for cataract surgery 2 years. Checkup for primary provider, Cardio follow up from my heart attack 2 years ago, and finally 3 month checkup for my Type-1 diabetes which I have had for 22 years. I turn 71 next month, doing ok but loosing my balance often so I am now using a cane to get around. After having Type-1 for diabetes for 22 years it's starting to catch up to me. Growing old is a double edge sword depending how you look at it.

I'm going with blessing.. I knew way too many who never made it to 70, 60, 50, 40 or even 30.

I would say growing old is indeed a blessing within certain limits. If I’m 90 but in a vegetative bed-ridden state, I would much rather it all end sooner rather than later.

My most major old-age illness is needing a Heart Valve replaced -- eventually. But, I'm a patient at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus which is supposedly one of the best in the whole World for that procedure. I see them every 6 months for substantial testing to see if I need it yet. Since there is a 5% chance of serious complications (including death), they won't do it until its absolutely required to keep me going.

Turns out, my Championship Level Ballroom Dancing Career was very, very heart strenuous (my highest heart rates were over 200BPM). It has left me with a Heart that is big, strong, and plenty good enough even running at half the capacity it should have.

Meantime, I get checked for many different things during many different visits -- each type is twice a year -- a different expert for each one. Next two are January 19 and January 20.

I mainly worry that a "Cancer" will sneak in on me -- my mother and all my "still alive" friends have already had Cancer and survived. The dead friends all died from Cancer. One didn't find out until he only had 6 weeks left.

As a prior cancer survivor I have the same worry. My approach is to try to remain aware of all the various warning signs of different cancers and don't ignore them.

To Be Honest, I have Insurance and Medicaid but haven't been to a doctor in years and I am aware of some issues but I really hate waiting rooms and Dr.s Offices I've got a bit of a belly and my knees and legs are getting weak but I feel like I look healthier and younger than my 65+ y.o. peers
I signed up for health Ins. to claw back some of the money Medicaid took from my S.S. check and have a pile of stuff I really haven't looked at and recently got notification that my Primary Physician was no longer in the system and I have never met her or had an appointment so I have to choose another and quite honestly I don't know where to start so I just basically ignore the correspondence and rarely check my email. I guess when something feels important I'll have it checked, sigh.
