The timeline of Mulholland Falls takes place in the same era, 1950's Los Angeles.
It also has a pretty power house cast. Nick Nolte, John Malkovich, Chazz Palminteri, Melanie Griffith, Jennifer Connelly, Treat Williams, Michael Madsen, Andrew McCarthy, Chris Penn, & Daniel Baldwin
I watched “LA Confidential” once and it didn’t do much for me. That was over 20 years ago though so I might have a different impression if I ever watch it again.

This movie is where Tim Cain and Leonard Boyarsky, the creators of Fallout, got the idea for rad roaches. Was a fairly well known movie back in the day--something a kid would not forget once watching.

Reacher is good?
This interests me, having finished "Dark" a couple weeks ago, and then watched the unfortunately quite woke "Fallout" after. The latter was very average, and nothing inspirational.

In which ways did you find the Fallout series “woke”? I haven’t seen it yet but I’ve been contemplating giving it a shot.

Reacher is great. If you read the books you'll be impressed and if not it's a well done ex army drifter type actioner helping out wherever he goes. Some humour, good action and very "just one more episode" vibe.
