Anyone playing? Have any thoughts on the changes. The new legendary mechanics?

You know I'm still playing. LOL
I'm excited about the upcoming changes because it means that you can re-roll individual legendary traits instead of having to re-roll all three at once.

Oh that's interesting, so you can fine-tune that three-star. I like the sound of that.

So close and no cigar. Just missed 150 by a few points before the end of the season. Good luck with the next! ![[Linked Image]](https://i.imgur.com/h5cvU9v.jpg)

Oh man, sorry about that! I was able to make it to 154. A friend of mine got to about 190 but he's a Fallout1st member so he gets extra score boosts.

Yeah well, I am a Fallout 1st member too, but I guess I should have given the S.C.O.R.E. more focus in the beginning.
It will be interesting to see how the new season will play out.

I haven't played in a few weeks, but I have to say the new crafting for weapons sounds pretty poor. You guys like it?
Once you learn a mod, is it learned forever and you can apply it to any weapon you wish?

Once you learn a mod, is it learned forever and you can apply it to any weapon you wish? I've scrapped a few legendary items so far and I've received one mod and 2 or 3 plans for mods. The percentage chance that you'll get something from scrapping seems pretty low.

So those things you got, the mods, are they single use? Or once you have them you always have them for unlimited application?

Well, that sucks, right? Doesn't it? Or do you guys like the new system? Does it help the player, or hurt the player, in the long run?
I nearly fired 76 up yesterday, but lacked that final bit of motivation and it quickly passed.
I should at least check it out and see what's going on these days.

I should at least check it out and see what's going on these days. Well, let me elaborate. When you scrap legendary weapons there's a chance you will get a mod or you will unlock a plan to make that mod. The mods are single use but the plans allow you to make the mod whenever you want. The chances though of unlocking a plan when you scrap are MUCH lower than getting a mod. I'll have to check my tinker bench today at my camp to see how many of the plans I've unlocked.

Yeah, thanks PM. That sounds a little better, but the drop rate seems abysmal. But if you can get those plans then maybe it's not so bad in the long run.

Fired it up last night and got to the Atomic shop and got the freebies. Went to enter a world and it seemed to get stuck on loading. Waited like eight minutes and gave up. Was it just doing something to create the world and was taking longer due to changes to the game? Or did I have a different issue? Who knows.
I'll have an upgraded box in the nest week so I'll give it another go with the upgraded hardware in a few days.

Tried again and same thing.
But I was in Fallout withdrawal so I fired up FO4 for the first time in nearly a year. There had been a major update, and I wanted to check it out, and get some Fallout action in. Had one lockup early on when hitting VATS, so I disabled motion blur which either fixed it, or it was a one-off. A number of new missions popped up and I went off to do two of them, and got two new sets of armor out of it. A X-02 set and a Hellfire set. Took both to camp, since I'm playing survival and never wear power armor. But those are both really good.
Had a good time playing this again and hit level 110.

I've thought about reinstalling Fallout 4 but I don't know if I can ever go back to it since I've been so accustomed to how Fallout 76 works for several years now.

I hear you but I really had a good time. It runs beautifully, looks really good too. Better than 76 anyway. The new content gives me new objectives, and survival is just a great way to play, I kinda missed it if I'm honest. 76 is rather forgiving, and to have some peril feels great again. Well if you decide to do I'd say it's worth it to check out the new stuff.

Yeah , the drop rate is very slow. Do we need a special perk card to speed it up? Stupid me modded my jet pac away without thinking. Now I have to do a new grind in the nuke zones to get it back.

Ohh I need some flux, but I can't play, if you offered any, for the moment anyway.
I have been dropping quite a bit of time in to FO4 though. Doing some of the new stuff, some of the Automotron stuff (Headhunting) and then went to Nuka World. I had done most of the content here, but stopped short of either siding with the raiders and taking over the commonwealth, or wiping out the raiders in Open Season. On survival, this seemed difficult. There are a lot of raiders, and they hit pretty hard in this mode, and there's no quick save. So I left it all unresolved.
But coming back I wanted to get the Scav magazine achievement lol, and the fifth and final one could only be reached once power was restored to the parks. So I decided to do Open Season and that was not easy. Died a couple times and back to the last save. But managed it in the end and got the power back on, which looks cool at night and there was a fireworks show which was nice. Those raider bosses are tough and they have a lot of minions, but now it's been cleared and the merchants seem happy, even if I killed all of their clientele.

. Which flux do you need? Let me know the next time you are online and I can give you some.
