For those having problems with the layout; scroll to the very bottom and select SimHq default fixed.

The Attachment Manager upload/display issue is resolved now, so perhaps you can do a screen grab and show us what you are seeing. Here is mine if I display it on my tablet in portrait orientation:

Never donated before, but now I feel the guilts and will start chipping in. I was a bit worried about doing so because I got messages that the site was not secure. Now it is.

I also appreciate that the site is more responsive (faster).

Maybe you guys could send out a post somewhere that will explain all the improvements you have made.?

Here's what I see...



I can only get the names to properly display when I use Ctrl+ mousewheel to minimise the page, but then it's so small it's difficult to read it.

I have tested the various styles to choose from (on the pull-down list at the bottom of the screen):



UBBCentral - Crimson
UBBT77
UBBT77 - Dark

Display the poster's name properly.

SimHQ default fixed
SimHQ default fluid

Currently result in the poster's name doing the word wrap thing.

I recommend selecting UBBCentral - Crimson

OK, I have reduced the font size for the author's name in the following styles:

SimHQ default fixed
SimHQ default fluid

They may display without the author's name word wrapping now.

Would that it were that simple. Mine is wrapping oldgrognard even on UBBCentral - Crimson, yet in an odd twist is *not* wrapping Trooper117 at all, in either UBBCentral - Crimson or SimHQ default fixed.

Gotta be some other factor involved. I suspect it has to do with resolution and/or browser settings. When I change the View > Zoom in Firefox, the wrapping changes depending on number of characters.

Yes, there is not much that can be done (that I am aware of) for someone's zoomed in viewing.

EDIT: I bumped the font size down one more point for the SimHQ Default Fixed and SimHQ Default Fluid styles. I specified it the same in UBBCentral - Crimson, too.

And, yet another interesting aspect: In Chrome, there is no wrapping at all of either oldgrognard or Trooper117, regardless of which style is picked in the combination box below (or zoom as far as I can tell).

Firefox still wraps, even with the smaller font.

Bears mentioning here that these are intended as objective observations, not complaints. Personally I'm very glad to see the forum is behaving far better in terms of responsiveness.

All normal again here. I've touched nothing, ever, so appreciate however it was repaired and whoever did it. It looks the same as before, only I see gray instead of tan, about which I care not.

So, now that that's has been settled, how 'bout a Belgian Dev Update?
