Took advantage of the double XP weekend to make it to level 200.

Events kind of suck anymore with the weapons others are using. So much so that I don't really want to do them. Whatever weapons shower the arena in purple are the worst, but there has also been an increase in fatman usage it would seem.

Having hit this goal, and obtained the next legendary perk, I'm rather out of objectives

I lost a lot of tickets when they changed seasons.
Wish I had a warning.

I hit level 250 yesterday. S.C.O.R.E. level 72.
Main aim ist the weekly/Daily challenges.
Then Enclave events and random events.
Fun to claim a workshop. Then find a safe spot to target enemies with my Cremator.

I don't understand the popularity of the fasnacht event.

It's mostly due to the new rewards that were added recently like the glowing masks. I myself don't care about the apparel stuff. What I want are more weapon and armor plans.

The game definitely exploits a psychological phenomenon with many players. I call it the "loot obsession". Players who are constantly out to get every single plan available in the game even though many of those plans will never actually be used. There are even players who will join an event and then go AFK. They don't play the event, they just join it so they can get the rewards when the event is over.

Fasnacht is mostly AFK. You can see the player dots on the map just stay there as the events come and go. People are dumb.

There's a simple solution for that but I don't think Bethesda would implement it. They could do what many other MP games do and kick a player out of the session if they are idle for more than a couple of minutes.

I checked both in Steam news and the Bethesda.net website and I found nothing about what this update does.

Fallout London, a giant fan made mod for Fallout 4, is now out for Steam and GOG versions.

It works out of the box with the GOG GOTY edition of Fallout 4, but if you have it on Steam, you need to downgrade your version.

Thanks for the info. I watched that trailer and I think I'm both impressed and not impressed. It's weird. Something about what I was watching there didn't feel like Fallout. Maybe how the shooting is. Like Doom or something.

Good to know about the requirement to downgrade. Not sure I'll do this. I'll wait for more feedback from people who are playing it. I've been aware of this mod for a couple years now, maybe it was you wormfood who posted about it back when it was announced. Congrats to the people behind it anyway.

I was reading the Fallout 4 Steam forum, which I do just about everyday, and the London mod has caused quite an uproar. The chatter seems to be that the mod asks for your Steam credentials, and your password? Is that true? Or rather, not the mod itself, but the 'downgrader' that is supposed to make downgrading easier than doing it manually. I'm going to keep my distance for a while, but even then I'm not so keen on trying it out. Maybe later.

I'm not sure as I haven't tried it myself. I only own the Steam version and as much as I liked Fallout 4, I don't want to buy the GOG version and I don't have time or disk space to mess with it right now anyways. I gotta get through some of the other games I'm playing through first.

I think the thing to do, if someone wants to play London, is buy the GoG version and have a separate install. That's what I will do, should I decide to do it.
