I just watched Das Boot season IV. Only because I was curious. Too many distractions and subplots on land making it almost like a soap opera. imho.
I just recently rewatched the 3.5 hour film version of the original Das Boot from 1981 and was quickly reminded just what a brilliant piece of film-making that was. That's the only Das Boot I'm interested in as far as I'm concerned.

Finished "Ironside" series (1967 to.1974). Raymond Burr starred as the crippled ex-Chief of Detectives who lead a team of 3 in solving and/or preventing crimes (not all were murders).
We thought it was better than many detective series we have seen. There was more variety in the types of cases and how they were handled.
The final movie length episode "Return of Ironside" was done around 1993. It brought back the original cast playing the same roles. However, it showed how their lives and careers had evolved.
Raymond Burr died in 1993.
At this point we think (?) we've seen all the Raymond Burr "Perry Mason" and "Ironside" episodes and movies (over 250 of them twice). We own all the DVDs.
My wife and I recently completed watching all of Star Trek (the original), The Next Generation and Voyager. 17 seasons in all. I was ready to watch "Enterprise" or start on a rewatch of my all time favorite SciFi franchise, "Stargate".
Wife had different plans, she wanted to rewatch "Person of Interest" instead. We've only seen it once before anyway so that's what we're watching. Really good series, interesting premise.

Going to start my second viewing of Justified soon. I just love that series, the characters are so well placed and acted. Walton Goggins as Boyd Crowder is my favourite villain of any TV show, and Timothy Olyphant’s Raylan is the epitome of on-screen coolness. In fact, I get the same feeling watching Reacher as I do when watching Justified. Well-made shows both of them.
In all my years I've never seen the like. It has to be more than a hundred sea miles and he brings us up on his tail. That's seamanship, Mr. Pullings. My God, that's seamanship!

She realizes that all of these shows are really, in essence, dramas with a SciFi element. And all women love dramas

Really enjoying A.P. Bio at the moment, got recommended to me after watching Loudermilk. Both excellent. Slightly darker than the traditional sit-com. Ron Livingston is always superb.
We started the 271 episode original Perry Mason TV series again. For the third time. We've finished it twice.
We still like it as a pleasant way to "pass time",
Most of our TV watching is "live sporting events". Wimbledon Tennis was foremost the last couple weeks. FWIW: The Tennis team my Wife Captained won the Ohio State Championship for their class (over 70 Ohio teams in their class) and went on towards the National Championship (were eliminated along the way) -- over two decades ago -- She just quit playing about 1.5 years ago (due to Macular Degeneration -- we're getting old).
I'm at beginning when Jack lost it only one month in the hotel when Wendy brought him breakfast while he was typing.
That would had been first sign for her to take their son and get away from him.
Jack also looked crazy in the face or is that mostly how Jack Nicholson always look like.

I finished season 2 of Mayor Of Kingstown. Wow. I think I need a palette cleanser before watching season 3. The violence was pretty graphic. Great story line though.
