Very few SW movies other than "Empire Strikes Back" have I watched multiple times.

As I've mentioned before, the next Star Wars movie will be a hard pass for me. I have zero interest in rewarding Disney for their woke nonsense.
As for the "Mean Girls" remake, we'll find out if it was necessary or not. If it makes a ton of money then it was worth it for the studio and if it flops then it will be a mistake.

The next Star Wars movie sounds like a disaster in the making from what I've seen from various YT videos. Why can't they give the franchise to someone who understands the lore and the fans. I want to watch a movie that's entertaining, not to have someone's agenda shoved down my throat. It's a hard pass from me too.
I enjoyed Mean Girls but I doubt this one will be to my liking.

If you watch Jaws backwards, it's a heart warming story about a shark that spits out so many people that they have to open a beach.
Could be lots of things. 4 Bourne movies were made with Matt Damon so it's possible that was enough for Damon and he moved on.
The Bourne spin-off with Jeremy Renner underwhelmed at the box office so I don't think that will be attempted again.
It's pretty safe to say that this franchise is done.

My point which you missed is that when MATT DAMON is in the lead role, the films do well. When it's someone else, movie audiences don't care.

lol I started that yesterday night (not even a fan of the Ted movies) and binge watched 6 episodes, went to sleep at 0300. I thought it brilliant. It's true that I'm pretty much the same age as that kid... In fact, looking that up right now, the series is set in '93 and I was 16 then so exactly like the kid. I also liked the girl, she's gorgeous.
I saw both Ted films in the theater and enjoyed them but I have zero interest in the series.
