I use chems a lot. We're talking about 4-5 chems used per hour of gameplay. Some chems like Psychobuff and Psychotats significantly increase your damage output.

Also, don't hang on to too much purified water. EIther use it to cook meals and make drinks or just sell it. Purified water weighs a lot when you have a lot of it.

It sure does add up. Sell that sh!t

Like I said I have a limit I will want to have on me and then the rest gets sold. It adds up fast if you do this religiously.

Build a vendor and let players give you money for stuff you don't want. Costs nothing and can make a lot. All those treasure maps you've collected and never use? Sell 'em. Bobbleheads? Sell 'em. That level 50 combat shotgun you got at level 12 and held on to to use when you hit 50 and then never did? Sell it. All those Nuka Colas? What are you waiting for?

I put a few magazines in yesterday for 500 a pop and they sold inside 20 minutes.

I just found out I had 171 units of purified water.

Sell 150 of them and that will be several hundred caps right there. Hard Bargain will boost your sell prices. I just swap it in when at the vendor, then swap it out with Bodyguards or Lone Wanderer when done. Each rank of Hard Bargain acts as though you have +3 to Charisma, so +9 at rank 3 which boosts your sell prices and lowers your purchase prices.

If you can spare the power you should build a vendor and see what sells. If it sits there a couple weeks, lower the price or sell it to a vendorbot, chump.

Once you do vault 79 and can buy bullion, you can visit the wayward once per week. Sell all your stuff you don't need to Duchess, pay 6000 caps for 300 bullion upstairs, then do it all again next week. That's what I do.

I have only 2 charisma cards and Hard Bargain is active.

I have put the Vault 79 quest on hold in wait for better weapons.
I probably need to continue on it when I listen to what you say.
Next mission is to search for military projects in the Research Wing.

I`ve been on the Vault 79 quest tonight.
All the way through the tunnels and almost finished clearing the Atrium with one boss remaining.

Out of ammo on Fixer and handmade. No missiloes left.
Just my sniper rifle wearing the chinese armor.
The green bar was almost down to zero and I was finally seeing the end of the mission.

Then the game crashed.......

Bloody hell.

That`s it for today.
Tomorrow I have to get a lot of ammo, grenades and missiles.

Looking at the positives, I have learned a lot and will do better the next time.

That sounds like quite a battle!

But it's worth it in the end, as it unlocks so much high end gear if that interests you.

We were talking about my money, and two days ago I was nearing the cap limit and went to buy bullion, but the week long cooldown hadn't expired. Logged on last night and was hitting events and kept getting buyers at my vendor. The money is climbing, and I don't want to hit my cap limit before I can buy something or those caps get lost. If you're at 40k and someone buys your 2000 cap rifle then I assume you get nothing. So I'm torn, as the event was a good one and I want those rewards and especially XP, and I don't want to throw away money at the same time.

In the end I stayed to the end and made it to the Wayward with 39,993 in my pocket

Too bad about the crash Wigean. You've got some rotten luck, in this game and the golf game.

Don't forget about mutated party packs for ammo. There have been quite a few mutated events and I'm sure you've gotten in on them. I get an average of 150 5.56 rounds from each one. It should give you rounds for whichever weapon you're holding when you open it. Maybe some don't have ammo, but for me that's rare.

I'm always on the edge for ammo too. If you do events and get busy shooting, then you'll always be running a deficit. In quests and other locations I usually at least break even with what is spent and found. But events are high volume affairs. But like I said I just craft more when needed. Lead farming is the key. Your plan to bump your commando cards will have an indirect effect on ammo expenditure as of course the harder you hit the less you need to shoot.

I have a lot of 5mm and I'll give you a couple thousand rounds if you want which you can convert in to a much smaller amount of another caliber at your ammo converter.

This double XP stuff is great. Is it all week?

Not sure about double XP. I thought it was for the weekend only.
After starting the game the sign is still there though.

About the crash. I think it is PC related, that or Steam
A google search tells me it is more than me.
I also get the occarional stutters.

I am on the other part of the scale.
I sold and converted a lot of stuff earlier today. I also bought all the ammo I could get at the Mall.
The plan is to join some mutated events later tonight as you recommended.

I will try to reach the Atrium at Vault 79 in the cheapest possible way so I can finish that superrobot .
I may have used too much ammo on the way, plus wearing the Chinese armor too late

The new Birthday challenge event starts today. I believe there will be some new plans and other items that you can get from the atom store.

Double XP just ended yeah. Fun while it lasted. Gained ten levels in three days plus it was double daily scoreboard too. Hit like rank 83 and see those perk coins at 97 or so. I'd like to grab those.

I was on yesterday when the challenges roll over to the new ones. The score for completing dailies dropped so I assumed it is over. But I didn't check my effects page to see if the double XP had ended.

I am not sure if the Chinese armor is available after doing Vault 79.
Invisibility is handy when doing may type of play.
