Ok, thanks DB.

Then I will be busy in the evening.

2,327 bullion would get you the torso, a pair of arms or legs and the backpack mod. That would just leave a pair of arms or legs to go.

First shots are modified by sneak attack bonuses, then Follow Through kicks in and the damage increases. After a few shots the sneak attack stops and the damage drops again. I swear I saw one round do over 1100 damage, but not sure why. So yeah, the synergy in the build is quite strong indeed. A four round burst is doing somewhere in the neighborhood of 1600 damage and that's great. Glad I flicked this on to see how it is working.

I should add that most of these were scorched and ghouls which mostly don't seem to have good DR. You can see how the numbers drop with enemies that have some defense. It's probably a good idea to use this setting occasionally, especially just before and after a weapons or build change to see exactly how it changed things.

Oh yeah, one more thing I wanted to mention, about how effective my armor and build have become....

I was near my survival tent, just behind the Watoga rail station and making my way toward the spot where Scorched Earth happens. I came across the military camp there, the one with the SAM system. There was a level 75 or 100 assaultron guarding it. I decided to drop a nuke mine and then hit him so he runs over the mine. With my perks, that nuke mine does 450 damage plus 150 radiation. As it happened though he came another way and I took him out with rifle fire. Time to recover my mine (I have the perks to avoid setting them off while in a crouch). But instead of hitting E to disarm and pick it up I hit F to bash it with my rifle. DOH!

The nuke mine detonated in my face. Immediately I resigned myself to respawn and waited for the inevitable death. But it did virtually no damage at all, but I did suck up the radiation. Maybe 5% of my bar was radiation, which my armor quickly clears up. From a freakin nuke mine! I was amazed by how little this mistake cost me. Just shrugged it off, like a bug.

Just hopped on for a bit, hit level 152. And I chased the scoreboard long enough to get the presidential Hellcat paint, which I think is the only Hellcat paint I've seen yet. It's better than the default paint anyway. There's some bullion and scrip at the next waystation but after that meh. I don't know how much longer this season is anyway, but at least another week.

330 hours, 150 levels and I finally tripped the Code Cruncher achievement for hacking 50 terminals. That seems excessive.

I gotta say that I like the perk system in 76 a lot. The devs could have made the game way more grindy and restricted, and allowing the player to change his build on the fly is nice freedom. Like Panzer just did, I am often looking it over and thinking of ways I can alter it, shifting attributes and perks around, mixing it up. this is what I was running with today. I had been running a rank 3 Gunsmith card which slows weapon degradation by 30%, but now that I am so flush with mats I figured why not drop it and repair my guns a little more often. Those three points could be experimented with elsewhere. So I put those Intelligence points in to Luck so I can run Ricochet and Junk Shield together. I also said what the hell and dropped Lucky break for Mysterious Stranger. I have a love/hate relationship with this perk going all the way back to FO3. We'll see how it works in 76, if he happens to show before I eventually swap it back out.

Strange in Numbers is being shared by a team mate obviously, and I am sharing Fire in the Hole. Panzer, post your build if you don't mind, I'd be interested.

I have several different builds but I'm currently using my shotgun build so I'll post that one tonight.

Yeah, whichever one you'd want to show.

Ran in to Wigean at my camp. Congrats on level 50.

Lately I've run a few events that I've enjoyed. The one today was called Dropped Connection, and it was in Harper's Ferry, but it can happen elsewhere too. I did a similar one in Welch the other day.

This is an Enclave event, so it only triggers if you've done that bit? Got in to the enclave? Anyway, I like these better than most of the events. A little maneuver is required and it starts small with just me. By the end a few more have usually joined. But it can be done solo, plenty of time on the clock, and lots of enemies. But you can just work your way through methodically if no one else shows up. This is the one where you have to reach three dish things to triangulate.

I was on earlier when the daily events rotated and cleared both weekly super mutant challenges in one go at Grafton steel. Lots of mutants there.

Speaking of Harper's Ferry, did you notice the fire house museum there? I thought that was some pretty cool attention to detail by Bethesda considering the historical significance of that fire house.

Yeah, passed level 50.

Haven`t checked too much, but no immediate changes.
Except I can use all stuff I have collected that exceeds level 50 and I have a legendary perkcard.
While I looked at the cards I accidently tried to move the cards sideways with the mouse and lost a perk point. Doh. I cancelled the card and lost a point.
DBonds advice seems to be a good one, but I will ponder on it before I make the final decision. Which card did you choose Panzer?

I bought plans from Minerva.
Arms, torso and left leg. Need another 430 bullions for another leg. I googled "how to get nore bullions" and learned about Smiley. Who I don`t have access to yet.
May be I because haven`t dome the Crane`s treasure hunt? Too bad. I could have bought some bullions and done a couple of events to get enough.
Minerva will leave soon and I have to get the rest of the armor later .

Just a short question about the plans/mods that are given in wooden boxes.

Should these be scrapped at a craft station or is it another method?

Secret Service at level 50! That's great. I was closer to 100. Panzer also took Master Infiltrator first I think, but lets see what he says. I don't understand what you mean about losing a perk point.

Yeah, scrap them if you don't need them, or sell them.

No, Panzer, I didn't notice the museum, I'll have to go back.

With the SS armor, you need one legendary module to craft it, but it can come out as three stars. Keep crafting until you have a full set of three-star pieces.

Perk card: On my screen I couldn`t see all the Legendary cards . Some were stacked at the right. I thought the natural way to move/reveal the cards was with the mouse pointer. It was not. I had to use the Z and C key om the keyboard.

Plans/ Mod in boxes: But how do you use the boxes? How do they transfer from Peep Boy to the Bench?

Mods in boxes (loose mods) can be applied at the bench like any mod, but are one time use? Honestly I've never used them. As long as they are in your inventory or in your camp stash you should be able to choose it when crafting in your camp.

Sorry, I still don't understand what happened with your perks, but no worries. Hopefully it's nothing permanent or unrecoverable.

If you are running any lockpick or hacking cards all the time in your build, the Master Infiltrator perk will allow you to drop all of those. So even though it is for lockpicking and hacking, it has a knock-on effect by allowing you to insert new perks in their place. Like I said earlier, I chose it for many reasons, but one reason was it allowed me more time to accumulate more perk coins so that when I hit level 75 and took the second one I could afford to rank it up faster. And now at 150 it is paying off with extra SPECIAL points to expand the build. For me the first rank of Infiltrator is enough.

Here is my shotgun build. Obviously I don't use power armor when I'm using a shotgun because I want to take full advantage of my VATS perks.

Thanks for posting it. That's interesting to see. You've 80 SPECIAL points and I'm on 63. 17 is a lot and makes a much more diverse and powerful build. But then, you've put the time in and earned it. Nice one Panzer.

I've been thinking over the past few weeks about finally placing my second camp. I've been scouting locations, and not really finding myself inspired. I wanted to find a suitable spot equidistant from as many free fast travel spots as possible, but who cares, and I put it down on the Whitespring golf course. It's styled after a tavern but I need camp items I don't have or maybe don't exist haha. So if you're looking for me check both camp locations.

Thanks, but not yet. It will be, eventually. Got some decorations up, got my work benches and a bar. It will be fun to see how it evolves over time. Location's good, nice view of the 13th green haha. Can practice my putts.

Did you choose a legendary perk?

I was at your camp the other day and wanted to say that using a bed off the ground prevents picking up diseases and afflictions while sleeping (if you do). The Well Rested condition boosts XP a little bit so it's a good idea to sleep now and then. Sleeping bags and that sort of thing have a chance to afflict you.

Speaking of beds, I want a clean twin-sized bed plan. Like the one with a green cover you always see in military camps or similar. The one I've been using is soiled and nasty. I've been hoping to find the plan but I don't even know what is called. Like all the locked bed options have the same name.

I've had my camp at the pumpkin house for a long time now and I've thought about moving it but I just like my current location too much. I'm right next to a big Red Rocket gas station which has lots of stuff to loot.

Yeah, but you get two free camps and can swap back and forth between them. So not moving really, just building an alternative address. And frankly with how often my camp cannot be placed this will save me some trying a different server.

And I have so many atoms I needed something to spend them on. So I bought the Wildwood Tavern and lots of furniture and stuff.

There's a relatively famous boardwalk in Wildwood, New Jersey which is a stone's throw from where I live so it all feels right. The tavern is three stories, so I'll have a bar on the first floor, crafting on the second and my quarters on the top floor.
