So did you buy the SS armor from Rusty Pick?
Or did you find Minerva this week?

I bought it from Minerva when she was at Foundation a month or two back. Actually, August 21 according to this thread haha. Her discount is 25% which is significant, but her inventory is limited and changes every time. So she doesn't always have the SS plans, but it can still be bought from Regs at vault 79 and I think there are others, like at Crater. She arrives today at Whitespring, but selling arctic marine and thorn armor plans. I think buying all the plans for SS (except the helmet which I ignored) was about 4000 bullion. I also bought the plans for the SS underarmor which completes the set. She does have the SS underamor today though, and if you've managed to gather 188 bullion that would be a smart buy. Another 150 gets the shielded mod plan for it and this gives +15 to all protections plus +4 to strength and endurance. Once you do vault 79 a bullion vendor shows up at the wayward and you can buy up to 300 bullion per week for 6000 caps. Here's a handy link for when you're ready to start buying things with bullion Where is Minerva

Minerva has arrived (presumably), but I was wondering if she appears for players who have not done the vault 79 content yet. I would imagine she does. You would only have needed to have accrued 34 treasury notes, or less with scoreboard bullion, in order to get your hands on that sweet shielded SS underarmor. If you're a little short, grind some events. She is only there for four days.

Very nice score there Wigean. I see you had 1490 bullion, so you're in good shape. That underarmor is top tier and you can wear it until the end. there are no underarmors that surpass it (shielded version). Nice.

Umm, I just realized that in order to actually craft it you need some rare mats, like flux. That could be a problem. Yeah, I checked and it's 4 x fluorescent stable flux. Plus some ballistic fiber (not hard) and 15 x circuitry. It's a grind, ain't it? And to make that stable flux you need these mats too Raw fluorescent flux Hardened mass Glowing mass High-radiation fluids Sorry, I should have thought about this earlier. Well, at least it's a new objective.

Then maybe you know how to kill a Hornwright elite security robot. He is on the top floor and gives me almost constant kill....

That's an assaultron I think. They're tough. Same advice I gave the other day. Use Concentrated Fire and VATS to target the combat inhibitor or a leg. Explosives, especially plasma and pulse. Lay out some mines for it to run over. Hit and run. Give it a burst and then run and hide, repeat. If you have an AP weapon, those are good against robots. Maybe put a perforating or stinging magazine on that level 40 Fixer and let rip in VATS as said. Pop chems.
Fury, Med-X, Psycho, Psychobuff, Psychotats, Overdrive. these will boost your damage, DR, or both. And could lead to an addiction, so all in moderation.

I searched my stash and found a broomstick with some stars on. Lucky I haven`t scrapped or sold it Brought with me a bunch of missiles and finished him. Phew. I thought I would never get passed him. .

Yeah, that's the stuff. Use all of your tools. Nicely done, I found him tough too. All those high level assaultrons are dangerous. Shooting a leg off makes them crawl until you can finish them off.
If you keep a bunch of unused perks on hand, you might have what you need to boost a weapon switch like this. Demo expert with the missile launcher makes you more deadly. And maybe it's a heavy weapon and would benefit from those perks too. Swap perks in and out on the fly as you need them
The problem is, FO76 says not so fast, since they introduced legendary perks which makes it much less advantageous to hold on to unused perks, since scrapping the perks (F key) is how you get the perk coins to rank up your legendary perks. How shrewd by Bethesda.
And since you don't get your final legendary perk until level 300 for crying out loud, you'll be scrapping them for a long time. What I'm getting at it is having enough cards for multiple loadouts is something that will only really be possible after that point. You could ignore legendary perks, but they're pretty good. Someone like Panzer at 1100+ can can have six loadouts with every slot filled. He's long since filled out his legendaries I would imagine.

I lost almost all of my armor. I think I must have I accidently got out of my power armor during an event and somone nicked some of the parts. I`m on level 43 now so just 2 levels before I can use the armor I got from you DBond. Now my next quest includes exploring "The Deep". I am almost out of ammo so I have to buy some or enter some events.

Yeah, about that, and maybe you missed my post before...that T-45 set might actually be level 50. I thought T-45 maxed at level 45 but it doesn't, so you may not be able to use it until level 50? By which point you may have a superior option. Did I give you a T-51 helmet with that set? I have T-45 helmet if you want it.
I hopped on last night for a bit. Hit level 147 so I'm closing in on the 150 goal. I've also hit about level 60 on the scoreboard, the farthest I've gotten yet.
No one can steal your power armor I don't think, unless you choose 'drop' from your inventory. Otherwise you still have ownership. I think that's how it works.

That`s puzzling. I had some Calibrated items that has dissapeared. I think I have the T-51 Helmet. I will check when I come back.
I may have missed the post. May be it is a good idea to go back and read some posts. So much info that easily can be missed.

Maybe there's a bug or I don't understand how it works, but I don't think it's possible to lose the power armor since it automatically is recovered to your inventory. Or that's how it should work, but maybe you've run in to a bug. I use PA so rarely that maybe I've just never had the chance to have it happen to me. The only problem I've had with PA is a bug where I attempt to climb in to it and the animation seems to break, freezing my character in place. I can look around, but can't move and I'm stuck there until the PA is automatically recovered to my inventory. I seem to have fixed it by entering the PA from the front instead of the rear.
Is there anything you need? I'll hop on in a bit so maybe I'll see you and can give you what you need. Have you been able to mod that Fixer at all? Did you try adding a legendary effect to it?
And about your post a few days ago how you were attempting to communicate and I was jumping around on the roof... yeah, I don't know how to talk, and I probably wouldn't understand what you were trying to say anyway. The limited communications in this game is great for general play with strangers, but is not good when playing with friends.
If you don't have Fixer mod plans I can slap a few on it if you want. I would also offer a single 1-star roll, but I can't spare the modules to do more. You'd have to drop your Fixer for me to pick up if so. The legendary effect would be random and maybe not very useful, but like I said any legendary effect is better than none at all, even if it is very situational.

This is my Fixer today. I just added a legendary mod to it. What other possibilities do I have? Not sure I like the single fire. I found the auto mode would be more efficient, even if it will use more ammo. Right now ammo is a problem. Also too early in the game to know what I am capable of in terms of modding or what type of weapons is available. Still a wotk in progress I guess. Oh, something happened to my ability to carry weight. Not sure what happened. Maybe some part of the armor was weightless? I have to go back and check if I can. I did a clean-up, but probably have to do it again. ![[Linked Image]](https://i.imgur.com/r7r4N7w.png)

Oh sh!t, is that how I gave it to you, semi-auto? My mistake. I crafted it and handed it to you without even realizing it could be semi-auto. Or did you change it to a semi-auto? Calibrated receiver is your modification right?
Powerful automatic receiver is what I am using on mine. Otherwise that one looks really good. Assassin's isn't the worst roll, there are many human enemies around. Good choice on the magazine.
Critical damage only applies when you command a critical in VATS, but adding 1/2 again to the damage is strong if you use crits. Pretty good result overall. The best effects for me are the one that can apply to all enemies, or as many as possible, like anti-armor, instigating or two-shot. But Assassin's is good too.

Just about everytime I am on I craft a couple more Handmade rifles and roll a two-star legendary on them. Without fail, I am disappointed in the result. Mutant Slayers or Exterminators or Gourmand's again and again it seems. But yesterday I rolled a nice combo, Aristocrat's plus Rapid. Aristocrat's grants +50% damage when caps are high and Rapid grants +25% fire rate. So it does 105 damage and fires quite a bit faster than my other Handmades. This now replaces the Instigating Hitman's (+100% damage against targets with full health and +25% damage when aiming down the sights)
My caps are quite high indeed. So this rifle is better since it hits for full damage even after the target has lost health. Very nice. I'm still hunting for an anti-armor, but this one is pretty good.

Oh 105 damage, that sounds like something I would buy.
Is it level dependant and do you sell it in your camp?
