Yes of course you are right. I didn`t scroll far enough and only saw the one with a scope. I have to tidy up what I carry a little more often.
I will try and fit in some game time tomorrow.

When and if you join events, that Vampire automatic will come in handy. In events, there is not much long range, or stealth. Sniper style rifles will not work all that well I don't think. Most of these are mayhem, and having the ability to heal thyself is gold. And I think I built that one before I realized that stabilized stocks are what I prefer. If you learn that plan, making this change should reduce recoil even more. I hit my Scoreboard goals with a couple days to spare. Got the bullion and as far as one that awarded 25 perk points which is nice. I've made it about half-way through the scoreboard, around level 50. I had planned to use a booster if I needed it on the final day, but now I'll save them for the next scoreboard. Thanks Panzer for the Fixer plan, that is a very generous gift. This plan is in demand and you could have gotten a high price for it. A few mini-nukes doesn't feel like a fair trade

Yes, sir, and it is very much appreciated.
I managed to accrue about 4200 bullion in preparation for Minerva's arrival later today. That should be enough to pick up all the plans for the secret service armor plus the underarmor if I skip the helmet, and have some left over.
However, having completed all of the main quests, and nearly all of the side quests, I'm finding it's like the rug was pulled out from under me. I guess we need a new update with a new quest line. Spent my time yesterday fast traveling between my camp and whichever event was up. I'd go there, do the event, return to sort the loot and drop the mats. Wait around for a bit and off to do it again, with regular pitstops at Whitesprings mall to convert the legendaries and get more bullion. I need to figure out a new way to play, something compelling to hold my interest. I can grind gear, but there's a limit.
Maybe I should see what the Pitt is all about.
About the What Rads? legendary perk.... it says it restores 1 rad per second, and that's an odd way to say it right? It doesn't restore radiation, it removes it right? Or does it actually restore radiation for bloodied players? What does it mean by restore?

The PITT is fun but it's just basically a long event but it does take place in a location that is not in the West Virginia map. It also gives out some really good rewards. There will be another new event set in Atlantic City that is supposed to come out tomorrow I believe.

I finished the lumber mission and talked to Duchess. I accepted a new mission .Find some attack bots.
So, I have 2 questions: What to do with the plans? Is it enough that you have them, and can put them in your stash, or do you have to carry them when crafting?
I had a visitor in my camp. He dropped of 150 wood scraps. I guess it was a favour, but why? Did I forget something with the camp? What is the cotume when you have friendly guests?

You learn the plans by clicking on them in the pip-boy, it will flash in the upper left of the screen indicating you have learned the plan, then you can use it with the appropriate weapon or armor. Any subsequent copies of that plan will show [Known] and those are safe to drop, sell or give away. I stick most of them in my vendor, but I've kept a few to give to you when I see you.
My custom for guests is to salute and ignore. I don't want them getting the idea I want to team up or trade or something haha. Chances are that guy just didn't want the wood and thought you might like to have it. It's good to have for both building and cooking anyway. You can drop it yourself if you don't want it.

Yup, wood is quite vital especially if you cook a lot and make drinks like I do!

The visitor was ATARI-1972. Familiar? Thanks for the knowledge.

I had an Atari, but I think it was later than 1972 although not that much later. The TV we played it on was like a piece of furniture so I know it was in the 70s haha. Remember that tank game, or pong? Breakout. Adventure. Ah the not all that good old days. Games are better now. But that's where it started eh?
Minerva is tops in my book. Logged on and saw Colossal Problem was up, so did that first. Then I went to Foundation to meet Minerva. All that bullion work paid off big time. She's only there for two days it turns out so it was good that I was ready. Bought plans for all secret service pieces aside from the helmet, then went to vault 79 and picked up the underarmor and the shielded plan. Back to camp and crafted it all, and wowza! It's even better than I had guessed it would be.
One of the biggest advantages to this armor is that crafting a piece automatically comes out as legendary. And better, it only costs one module and can be three-stars. It's super cheap to craft considering how good it is. This makes it about as cheap as you could want for putting together a set with particular bonuses. In my case I built all pieces, didn't really care for three, and built new ones of those and ended up with a very good set, even if I will keep turning them out in search of a perfect set. And better still, it's all very lightweight, at least lighter than I expected it to be. And I have yet to mod it, so it will get even better. But of course, that costs bullion, so the carrot is kept out in front.
The underarmor alone gives +15 to all protections plus +4 to strength and endurance.
Compared to the set I had stitched together, secret service weighs about the same. Ballistic is far better, energy is slightly better (due to how good the leather I had been wearing is against energy weapons) and radiation is infinitely better than what I had. Well, about 500% actually. And then, because each piece is rolled at three-stars, I have all sorts of other bonuses like poison resistance, Charisma, and burn on melee damage chance like a Borderlands spike shield. These will change as I hone in on my perfect set, but overall this has transformed my character beyond what I had expected. And probably best of all, you can wear clothing over it so instead of looking like a stormtrooper you can keep your swag.
The main drawback is my stealth is not as good. I've lost the muffled and shadowed mods I was running and it shows.

The most creative name I've seen from a player so far is "GreenEggsandCram".

I made the Secret Service underarmor about 2 years ago and have worn it continuously ever since!

Where to find, or on which level is Secret Service armour available?
I had an Atari in 1979 I think.
Adventure, Pong, Minigolf, Space Invaders. Games was insanely expensive though.

I suppose you could get it at any level, but waiting for level 50 seems wise. In my case level 130 or thereabouts. Secret Service armor must be purchased with bullion, or the plans must be, to be precise. So you need to do the vault 79 quest to open up the bullion economy, then accrue enough bullion to buy the plans. So this is a long-haul objective. It's at the end of the Wastelanders quest line. You can get the stealth armor a lot earlier in this line. There are a number of ways to get bullion, but the main way is participating in events and getting treasury notes as a reward. These can be redeemed at gold machines for the bullion. There is a ton of amazing kit available through the bullion vendors.

When will you be online again Wigean? Maybe we can coordinate with the three of us and do a couple of events together.

I'm in.
Events are not to be missed. This is the fastest and best way to get the good stuff. Legendary cores, weapons and armor, treasury notes for the bullion, lots of XP, money, plans and mats. Dying means little, you just respawn right there and have at it. Even at low level it's definitely worth it. You could even just hang out in the shadows at the periphery and haul in the rewards at the end. To get a lot of loot you do need to tag enemies, get at least one hit on them. But yeah, hit these early and often. Some are much harder than others, but when you click on the map icon it will rate the difficulty and show you how many players have already joined.
I've joined a bunch just as it is ending too, but as long as you get in before the end you get the rewards. Some are highly irradiated so you'd want power armor to go to these. Scorched Earth especially, but also Colossal Problem, Radiation Rumble, Uranium Fever and probably a few more. The T-45 I want to give you would do fine, but probably need to pop a Rad-X at Scorched Earth. The Vampire automatic is perfect for these as the life steal will keep you in the fight. Tea Time was the first one I did and that's a good one to see what it is about if you haven't done any events yet. Mostly bugs, mole rats, dogs and that sort of enemy.
If you want to roll legendary effects on weapons, and you really do, cores are needed and events are where you get them. Treasury notes are key rewards too, and by the time I unlocked bullion I had a couple hundred notes from doing events which kickstarted the pursuit of the SS armor.
Green event map icons indicated it is mutated. The enemies will have some special ability like freezing or damage deflection. 1st members get mutated party packs out of these which are really good. Yellow icons are normal, and the exclamation points show which ones are best rewards. You can warp to the event and return to camp for free so no cost. Just bring a lot of ammunition!
Yeah, PM, that underarmor is really good. I had said I wanted the Brotherhood Recon, and I do, as it is really nice, and aesthetically more my jam than SS is, but I'd wear clothes over it anyway. But I hadn't factored in how inexpensive SS is to craft, which means I can get what I want without much investment and all at three stars. Minerva's timely arrival cut a quarter off the price of the plans too. SS armor also doesn't use ballistic fiber for repairs thankfully, but does use 12 asbestos so I need to start picking up more of that.
I've rolled a number of SS pieces but it's a lottery, so you just have to go with the best of what you get along the way. I don't necessarily have specific pieces I want, and I like having a bunch of effects all working together. But there are some I don't want or wouldn't benefit from much like unyielding or lifesaver's. I've rolled two weightless legs, but it's already pretty light so this isn't a big deal. But they grant both healing and radiation removal! That takes care of that. Always full health automatically. This armor is fantastic. Glad I went after it.

Yeah, just pick up any and all cigarettes, cigarette packs and cigarette boxes you see and you'll have plenty of asbestos. The Brotherhood Recon armor also needs asbestos for repairs so I've been picking up those things for a long time.

Yeah, thanks, I will. Lightweight for a good yield. I've mostly ignored those since I haven't needed it.
New season starts today, I think the servers are probably under maintenance right now. With quests mostly done I guess this scoreboard will be an attraction. I only got a little more than half way through the last one, but I started playing well after the season began I would guess.

Barring any unforeseen tech problems, the servers are usually down for about 3-4 hours whenever a new season is being implemented.

Yeah it was a long one but back up now. A bunch of fixes in the update but no Atlantic City that I saw.
The Arms Keeper perk is a good one for me. Legendary enemies lost their mutate regen at 50% health and now just have 60% more health to begin with.
