I have to say that was quite a brilliant reveal concerning Caleb near the end of tonight's episode.
I knew right away that the young resistance leader was Caleb's daughter but i was indeed fooled by the fact that Charlotte's plans had already succeeded and that Caleb had already been dead for 23 years. The reveal also implies that Christina (Delores) is part of this new controlled world by Charlotte.

I've also heard that Gillian Anderson played Margaret Thatcher rather convincingly on "The Crown" but perhaps there was no outrage with her since she's considered to be "Anglo-American".

Yes she did. Sure I read she was British though? Born here then emigrated with family? I'll have to look it up.

I wouldn't agree with that, I felt that Gillian Anderson over-acted, her voice and mannerisms being somewhat of a caricature.
I'm getting my DirecTV system replaced on Wednesday after it's been out for 3 weeks due to lightning (and with no internet streaming). We don't miss TV service one bit (the repair delay was ours after finally replacing the 4 fried TVs), but my parents do. They've been using digital rabbit-ears for local stations (multiple ABC/NBC/PBS/FOX stations, I think) which is what we plan to do in the future.
It's actually nice watching a little evening TV together (besides Friday movie/concert night) by dusting off our long-neglected DVD library. A History Channel Dogfights boxset marathon is in my stack of things to watch queue.
As long as I get at least one local news with an antennae, I'm good.

About the only show I watch regularly is History Channel's Alone. Basically they stick 10 people in the wilderness by themselves with minimal supplies a few weeks before Winter and they have no contact with the other contestants. The one who last the longest wins $500K. They either starve out or mentally give up.
The road less traveled is filled with fewer needy people.
