I got the best ending, or the one I think is best (shacking up with Panam) and not too bothered about playing through again to get a different one. I like Cyberpunk, but like most games of its type I usually don't replay it, at least until it's expanded in some way. Too bad that there isn't more of a unique vibe between each back story or I might do.

I got the same ending and it's the ending I wanted!

I finally finished all of the side jobs and scanner hustles so I'll be shelving the game until either DLC is released or until I get my new gaming PC at the end of the year.

Yup. I've been using Alienware PC's for a while now. I just don't have the patience anymore to custom build my own gaming systems and I'd rather just spend the extra money and save myself some headaches and time.

Besides, these days buying a premade PC is the only way to reliably get parts.

Bingo! Try buying any of the high end stand alone NVIDIA cards and if you do find one be ready to pay through the nose for it.

My son just built a new PC. He had to go with AMD for the GPU. He Payed $2000 Cnd for an RX 6900 XT. Which was only $100 above MSRP.

The build cost him around $4000. The good part was I got his "old" one for $950. It's 11 months old. The specs are in my signature. The GPU is worth more than that.

My last 2 PC's were prebuilt. I couldn't be bothered. But my son caught the bug and jumped into building them last year. I encouraged it as it is good to know. It's a good hobby for him.

And no question, when RTX 6090's are available, he will want one.

It's been a few years for me, but last time I was in the market I concluded there just wasn't any real money to be saved by building my own PC, so for the first time in my life I bought pre-built.

Plus I no longer have multiple PC's and parts lying around like I used to, so no real way to diagnose exactly what component is bad if I get any lemon parts.

And now with the death of Fry's Electronics (I had a real return nightmare the last time I built via parts bought online and got some bad RAM and vowed to only buy parts in person afterward) I just can't see ever building my own again for ANY reason...

I started building in the mid 1970s. I had to buy the individual integrated circuits, blank circuit boards, equipment to make circuit boards, etc and design/build from scratch. My first one took 1.5 years to design and build -- it worked but it did almost nothing. Nonetheless, I passed out Cigars at work -- and I don't smoke. When the first desktops were released in the late '70s, they were far better than my puny efforts. I quit and bought pre-built up until around 2000. However, since about 2000, I assemble parts bought online -- nothing I design.

Now, putting together a PC from parts one buys is a couple hours work -- and can be done in less than an hour by someone who really understands that build. Installing the software takes longer. However, diagnosing and fixing build problems can be VERY time consuming -- and cost money. Also, researching and picking parts and buying them takes very substantial time.

I agree with those who would rather buy pre-built. All things considered, if one price shops, pre-built is cost/time effective. Only build if building and problem solving gives satisfaction.

These days if I was going to build I'd just hit some place like Linustechtips on Youtube and copy a build verbatim. Oh I forgot one other benefit of pre-built, when you're buying from a big brand name you can pretty much bet software vendors (at least the big name ones) tested their product on it or something very similar...

actually these days is much easier to look for parts, some apps and site even will flag if the cpu you have will not work on the motherboard yo choose either because of difference or no bios suport (not all of them ahve this, but you definetely aint going blind shopping)

The previous patch was 28 GB so cut them some slack.

it was 2 gb of fix only, they needed the 28 because the changes need to replace files, their programing is as a stupid as ubisoft ghost recon wildlands that needed to update basically the whole game each patch.
and the fix for police was the most wanted fix, they did a rubberband solution and didnt think about rooftops ? im glad im done with this crap...i will wait for my 50% discounnt on the remake of this game.

Meh, I played the game and really enjoyed it. Then again, I played it on the PC and NOT a console.

This may be relevant to some folks like me who are "waiting" for a "totally high end, truly finished" version -- or we won't ever buy it.

That's no reflection on folks who have played it and liked it. "Beauty is in the eye of ..."

I had pre-ordered -- but, cancelled the pre-order. One of the few times I actually should have cancelled a pre-order (considering my personal gaming tastes) and actually did it

But, I'd like to play it eventually. That's why I follow its development.

I'll be getting a new Alienware gaming rig later this year so that's when I'll replay Cyberpunk. I have to admit and say that I found the romance aspect rather tame so that was disappointing. It was implemented MUCH better in Witcher 3.

Agreed. Panam had some nice jeans, no doubt. But Yennefer was hotter, and Trish more sweet, and besides, they showed more boob. Tank sex is novel, but Witcher 3 is the winner here.
