Yup. In fact both the second and the third films were shot back to back. If you ask me though they should have stopped after the second film.

1) "Black Sabbath" - horror anthology movie from 1964 that isn't nearly as scary or evil as the title suggests. The first and third stories are pretty lame, but the second one Wes Craven many years later clearly drew inspiration from in his slasher movies, particularly Nightmare On Elm Street and the Scream movies. If it weren't for the second story, the entire film would have sucked, but wasn't enough to make it worth watching the rest, despite this story being well done. 1.5 stars out of 4.
2) "Nothing But the Truth." This movie pissed me off--I was literally yelling at my television in the latter half, and anyone who watches will discover why it is so divisive. Basically it is a fictional adaptation of the whole reporter went to jail to hider her source Valerie Plame affair a decade ago, with Hollywood embellishments, major plot additions, etc. Spoilers aplenty--basically they tried to spin the movie to be sympathetic of the protagonist being imprisoned, suffering from her husband later cheating on her and her unfair treatment from the government. HOWEVER... Her secret source turned out to be the daughter of the CIA agent she revealed to the press, whom later was murdered by a lunatic because the reporter ran the story. Oh, and the protagonist never once showed any remorse or regret for this, that the daughter lost her mother, that the protagonist's own son suffered from not growing up with a mother, and that her husband later cheated on her because she abandoned them by refusing to give up the source and stay in jail. Now, the husband is responsible for his own actions, as his cheating on her was pretty reprehensible on its own, but the reporter could have avoided blood on her own hands by not naming the CIA agent in the news, and instead never acting on the source to begin with, but because she's a sociopath, and wanted fame and glory and was on a self-righteous crusade to bring down the president, justified her actions thusly despite all the pain and suffering she caused. Never once did she apologize. Never once did she regret.
Disgusting movie. That so many folks don't get this--that the reporter herself is responsible for the nonsense that happened, that she should have been held accountable, is ridiculous. What a broken society we have. Basically, whoever watches this movie will come away with a different view depending on their moral compass. The film was well done but the blatant crowing that reporters can do no wrong and should be worshipped for the sake of the profession is bull crud.
In The Mouth of Madness First time I've seen this one. It's really good. Sam Neill does a great job as an insurance investigator slowly going insane. The practical effects still hold up rather well too. It's a good John Carpenter film and I'd recommend giving it a watch. https://youtu.be/AlugldzO9zY
Mystery Science Theater did an incredibly funny and great job riffing "Hercules Unchained".

Dad remember why we didn't see this movie. He doesn't like Russell Crowe and finds his movies unappealing. I agree. The only good movie Crowe made was Gladiator.
