Death Wish 2018. Not as bad as I thought it was going to be. It's never going to make my re-watch list but it was enjoyable enough if you like revenge type movies.
If you watch Jaws backwards, it's a heart warming story about a shark that spits out so many people that they have to open a beach.

Black Panther. So many great reviews,I was sure I was in for a treat.
I score it meh out of 10. What a stinker,I guess I just don't like superhero movies. Deadpool being the exception.
Take your time, watch it again later. Have watched it 4 times now and still go back.The entire thought process of marvel comics taking a new direction. Have not seen Infinite Wars yet though.

I absolutely am loving this very intellectual and in-depth scifi show on HBO.

I just saw "Annihilation" last night. Can anyone explain it to me?

I've seen it twice but I'm still not 100% sure. I'm not particularly good at analysing films but at the most basic this is what I believe is going on. Others can add more as they see fit or correct what I though about it.
I think the lighthouse was hit by a meteor that went through the wall and buried itself underground. There must have been something on it that then started the shimmer. It has no physical form,so it creates a 'clone' from Oscar Isaacs. I believe its intent is to destroy all life and start again. After what happened to Portman in the cave,is she now a clone? It's not made clear.
