00:04:36, V-750VMVK 11DMVK Missile launched on Channel-2 Target distance: 58km Target azimuth: 38 Target elevation: 57 Target altitude: 49,7km SNR mode: 110km Missile guidance method: T/T (Three Point)
This is a mistake, this can not be the SR-71 did not fly so high!

Yeah, weird now that I look at it. I didn't pay any attention to that before, but I'm guessing that since it didn't even jam me until a few seconds before impact, altitude was a tad or two glitched as well.

Fairly certain it was a one off, but I'll try again. Not playing SAM sim so much any longer though, since I've got a 27" screen which means I have to muck about with the resolution every time I play it. If it gives me the same altitudes, I'll record and such.

Did it again, and I'm starting to guess it's restricted to the AAR. The EWR screen consistently called out his altitude as being 24.000m. I'll do a recording if Hpasp feels there's a reason to suspect something is broken.

Actually, I found out the reason, at least I'm pretty sure. Though the jammer was never on at first, he turned it on when the missiles were close. Due to that the range gate lost track of him, and stayed where it last saw him. So when he came closer the AAR correctly registered that I'd been firing at a target that was far above 24.000m altitude according to the settings I'd inadvertently been feeding the Fan Song. So no problem, just a user bug

SA-5According to "Manual of battle work of S-200B", page 146,- "RABOTA PO V" knob must be in "AVTOPEREZAHVAT VIKL" mode by default.... Link In all switches, red dot shows the "forced" default setting on the Vega panel. That switch albeit mentioned in the manual, and that setting is a reasonable one, before switching POMEHA, you need to anyway select the correct value based on the detected jamming type, thus there is no "forced default" red dot on the panel. As in SAMSIM we have only noise jamming, the AS VIKL is a good selection. Anyway, that switch has no effect in SAMSIM.

1S12 screen - OAF scenario: the Ashuluk is drawn on the glass. The drawing is appearing only when the power is on... On what date/position? 2-th of may.... But I think it is for all of dates... Found it, will be corrected.

1. One day we could have other type of jammings. 2. It is not "realistic to the switch" in that way

SA-2E bug (thanks to MAx2012):
1. When in "<5km" mode turn on "Podsvet" or "Narrow beam", "<5km" mode is turned off...
2. When switch on "<5km" the antenna pop-up by 3 degrees, but in KARAT target is still in cross hair....?

2. ???
1. It is not possible tho switch off "<5km" mode with other switch.... 2. As antenna and KARAT are aligned, what is happening with antenna when "<5km" is switched? What will happen with the view in KARAT?

0.929 - bug S-200VE in jamming environment...
After launch, when target start using noise jamming, we observe KRO signals.... After reacquiring target on AS-2 and AS-RPC, the first missile reacquired the target too.... it is observed in Giant Reach and Vladivostok scenario, but sure it would be the same in others too...
P.S. Is this because on "Rabota on V" it is AS VYKL?

I haven't played the SAM sim since some weeks and today when I double clicked the desktop icon a message appeared:
"Your current resolution is 1536x864, program requires screen resolution 1280x1024 or higher".
My screen resolution is not 1536x864 but 1920x1080. Why the sim can't recognize the real resolution? I haven't this bug before.
I use the 929 version. Any thoughts?

You need to set Windows screen magnification back to 100%.

In theory the big new advanced feature of the S-200V Vega system is the jamming target reacquiring capability from the V-860PV missiles onward. (manual page 34.) There were a bug in the code considering this reacquiring capability as 360 azimuth earlier, but it was fixed earlier.

There were a bug in the code considering this reacquiring capability as 360 azimuth earlier, but it was fixed earlier. OK, once more... Target is SR-71 in Giant Reach. After first missile is in the air, the target starts jamming. Thus the missile's GSN lost velocity lock on the target and KRO signals appeared. RPN should lost tracking on velocity as cannot discriminate the target in the noise enviroment. Here must apply some settings to prepare the second missile to work in jamming environment. Here we must unlock tracking in velocity for RPN (which is achieved by POMEHA switch IMHO), also select on selector switch tracking in velocity OFF (for GSN). So after that we could fire a missile in HOJ mode. BUT when the RPN locked target again in AS-2 mode, the first missile (which is in the air already, and which started in non-jamming enviroment with velocity tracking ON), suddenly reacquires the target all by itself... (which IMO is impossible). Also CU feature could be affected in initiating such behaviour. Please AlienMastermind to help in additional testing as my computer is barely working recently...

piston: I will test it during this week.
I think this is not possible in reality too, because there is no uplink channel to tell the already launched missile to switch to home on jam mode.
