Dave and I flew Fog Of War last evening to a Red conditional win but the win did not trigger. We had to capture four Blue FARPs near Kutaisi City.
I'm looking at the event logic for the winning conditions and all four events to detect the FARP being captured by Red say that the 'FARP ID is invalid".
I wonder when that happened?

On a side note, the new Beta 1.2.15 may have fixed a problem with cloning a group. Hope that takes care of the Vulcans vs Sharks problem where helicopters can't spawn infantry teams.
Based upon the positive feedback from the new Back Of The Hand mission, I've modified most of the WC missions to optional Labels. In all of these with optional Labels, any Client can control Labels with LShft-F10.
One reason that Labels are now optional is because there is a lot of background story going on in these missions. And you prolly wouldn't know it,,, so labels highlight the eye candy all around.
Another reason is to get some more life out of the older missions. And a lot of those depend on vehicles moving across bridges...
Some missions have F10 views and Labels Off, so there is a variety of combinations. Let me know what you like -- fly the mission and tell me what you think.
A missing View setting is the F5 Near Aircraft View. There should be a Mission Editor switch for it.
For me personally, there is no bigger immersion killer than labels on. And playing with labels off against someone (even on the same team) with labels on, puts me at a tremendous disadvantage.

White Bird is ready. Went to fly it tonight for the first time in prolly over a year. Got sidetracked with Mol & Rider in Back Of The Hand so we capped that off.
White Bird has 5 zones of dynamic weather in the middle of winter. The A-10C waypoints are clearly marked. Blue commandos are moving to mortar the Red HQ. F/A-18Cs are driving in from the coast to take out major SAM sites.
General Vaz and his mistress have more in store than a cozy fire in his chalet...
Just jumped on hollo point, and unfortunately the labels just kill it for me. Maybe I am being silly, but I couldn't bare to start the Ka50 with those labels on.
I would love to fly your missions, if the labels are disabled for everyone (I don't want to fly with my labels turned off and everyone else is turned on).

Although I agree that labels ruin the immersion in a mission I can see why servers that provide arcade type missions are trying to appeal to those that see DCS World as a video game rather than a true flight sim. It seems that there is always a division between one approach and the other. I remember when weaning myself from using labels was quite a leap up the ladder.
Thanks bhb, I appreciate your opinion. It certainly is easy to change the Labels option, except that I have to save the missions on my client machine and then upload the missions to the server. Some of the Options settings on the machine that the mission is saved on affect what actually gets applied AFAIK.
If more folks objected to the Label option it would help to decide the setting. None of the missions have Labels forced On, where they cannot be toggled Off.
All of my missions that do have the Labels option will list that at the top of the Briefing Summary, so the notice can be seen as soon as one selects the Hollo Pointe server in the multiplayer lobby, before joining. If you don't see a mention of Labels in the top three lines of the mission then Labels are Off.
The decision to make Labels optional in many of the missions is in large part to attract newer players, and I do see many new people come in. Hee hee I also see new people in the server when I look at it with Teamview where they wouldn't know I'm there viewing, but then I'll join the mission as a Client and they will exit right away, which makes me think they are not confident enough to stay in the mission when more experienced players are around. I hope that new folks can get some flight time fun in an MP server and try different missions, without feeling lost in space.
When we have have the regulars players together, no one has stated an objection about the Labels to me (other than to ask how to toggle them). I'm also not seeing anyone make a text chat comment about Labels in the chat logs. I have gotten positive comments re all the activity that otherwise would not be noticed w/o Labels. The other night we were getting ready to fly a mission and one of the guys asked for the new MiG-21, so we delayed the start ~15 minutes while those planes got added. So, if we got ready to fly a mission and someone asked that the labels get turned off it could be done in a couple of minutes and we'd all be on our way.
What about the folks who do fly the Hollo Pointe mission with optional Labels -- do you like them or would you rather they be Off?

Is the same mission with Labels Optional an arcade mission vs not "arcady" when the Labels are Off?
I'm kind of chuckling here. Most of the players have prolly gone through that same development -- to being comfortable with Labels Off. I certainly did, and can fly for hours and hours without them and am able to find my way around no problem. But I do like showing-off the extra activity happening around the battlefield with the Label feature.
It's about the options... No one is forced to have them on in my missions.

Now that makes sense. Considering the many hours it takes to learn how to script the ground activity that very few are even aware of, it must seem like a waste unless it gets more attention.
