I use powerpoint myself, but wanted to second Wesley's recommendation to document your config.

For those looking for a slightly easier method, there is a "Make HTML" button at the bottom-right of the controls page. It creates an html table (e.g., webpage) that has every command and your currently assigned mapping. The HTML files are stored at C:\Users\{YOUR USER NAME HERE}\Saved Games\DCS\InputLayoutsTxt. There's one for each controller that you have plugged in at the time you press the button, whether you have buttons mapped there or not. If you get your controls the way you like it, hit the button and save the files somewheres you'll remember to look.

The canyon just north out of Tbilisi is gorgeous on an early spring morning. Here we are flying Hueys in 'Paradise'. This mission used to start at around 0300, but now it begins at ~0530. Still, Hueys have a tough time against anything bigger than an MTLB.



Don't go around that corner! I'm warning you!

Looked like a bunch of folks (~8-9?) got into The Highway last evening. I got called away to help the wife -- wrapping and packaging for Christmas -- and when I got back the Hollo Pointe server had crashed. raven was in there when it happened, but he did not notice anything specific when the crash occurred. Anybody else notice anything?

We've had some Client disconnects in other missions, noticeably when shooting up infantry and mortars with Huey guns. Arrrrrg.


Anywho,,, it's almost the weekend and all the wrapping is done!

I'll likely pop in, I think I sorted my issues last night with controls,

Lovin the warthog throttle, just ordered a warthog stick because of it,

I think I'll mount my Ch throttle on the left side of my chair at a angle and use it as a cylic.

Also went ahead and ordered a set of TM MFDs, I miss having those, shoulda never sold them off.

It would probably work better as a collective.

Doh! Thats what I meant...lol

I followed Einstein's lead for the Warthog when flying the Huey. The left throttle arm I'm using for the Huey throttle and the right side for the collective. I'll leave the throttle on full most all the time. I'd had them opposite to begin with, but with my TS switch as Mic Sw Up it was hard to talk on TS and move the left-side collective. Now that both of these controls -- collective and TS Mic Sw -- are on the same right-side arm, it is easy to fly and talk (and chew gum all at the same time).


I would like to have a couple more axis controls for the F-15C but haven't found a solution for that yet.

I just figure the sliding moton of the CH Throttle when mounted sideways is.closer to pullin up on the collective.
