Oddly his accent is harder to understand than Sanada's. Of course, Sanada was never an Autobot.

Couldn't find anything recent to watch so spurred on by a clip someone posted on SimHQ I checked out Idiocracy http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0387808/Mike Judge,didn't he do King of the Hill? Anyway,I found it very funny and a glimpse into the future perhaps?
If you watch Jaws backwards, it's a heart warming story about a shark that spits out so many people that they have to open a beach.

The last movie I watched was: Rocky Horror Picture Show, well most of it any way. It seems they cut the crap out of it and I ended up watching my DVD to make up for their editing. The last TV Show I watched was: Castle

I watched "Manhunt in Space" which was a really low budget crappy sci-fi black and white film from 1954 which consisted of a bunch of Rocky Jones: Space Ranger episodes strung together. And of course I watched the MST3K version.

Last night I watched something on TV that wasn't South Park or Robot Chicken (wife was shocked). The new Total Recall, came on AMC (along with frequent threats that Satellite TV subscribers might soon lose AMC). I love the original bur never saw the remake. Verdict: Disappointed. Too much Kung-Fu, over-the-top effects with non-stop music. My favorite line in the original, "That's for making me come to Mars. You know how much I hate this f#$@%&g planet!" - Sharon Stone But they never go to Mars, and the setup wife in this one was more like a female terminator. Also playing was Jurassic Park on another channel (didn't watch, have DVD) and it made me think what a modern remake of JP would be like. Wonderful special effects, so overused that 95% of the movie would be dinosaurs fighting to some dramatic (but forgettable) soundtrack. And that's why I don't go to the movies.

Hard to believe that Jurassic Park was 21 years ago. Sheesh.

Oh, I watched The Signal.
It was Dark City meets Blair Witch pretty much. Interesting idea hampered by lack of money (so only one decent actor) and a director that seemed to stray too far into being surreal and artsy for the good of the film.
Basically as the film ends THEN you get interested in what's happening and want to see more.

Just saw Nightcrawler over the weekend w/my GF, she's not into SciFi so Interstellar was out. I was surprised it was a decent movie. Jake Gyllenhaal plays a decent weirdo!

Watched The Sword and the Stone with my daughters who'd not seen it before. Not one of the big classic Disney films, but definitely better than some like Black Cauldron or Fox and the Hound.

Just saw Nightcrawler over the weekend w/my GF, she's not into SciFi so Interstellar was out. I was surprised it was a decent movie. Jake Gyllenhaal plays a decent weirdo! You should go see "Interstellar" then with your kids. I'm sure your boys will love it!

The Princess Bride? That's a girls film isn't it?
That's what I thought when I saw the title.What a great film. Well it was worth the 27 year wait.

Europa Report
Apollo 18 meets 2010 meets The Abyss. Good concept marred by a meh execution brought about by the combination of a low budget and the IMO mistake of making it a "found footage" film where it's all from cameras on board the ship and spacesuits. The out-of-order presentation of the scenes made the film unnecessarily difficult to follow for the first 2/3 until you catch up with what happened when and to whom.
It felt like a Clarke or Asimov story retold by an amateur.
The Jedi Master Hmm. Yea, agreed. I almost wonder if it could be saved by making a "fan edit" and just put it in chronological order?
