I'm just watching the Europe 1944 thread right now and I'm downright embarassed. Who doesn't appreciate the courteousy, respect, and down right hospitality that the combat flight simulation community engenders. It's no wonder that this genre is just brimming with companies vieing for the priveledge of our business.  On the plus side, Wags confirmed Half Life 3 DCS: Hornet again.

Who wouldn't be excited to undertake new projects with the hopes of being able to provide the community with thousands of hours of enjoyment. Those threads make a beheading sound appealing since at least then the horror stops.

I agree. I'm not sure why they chose to go through that crucible but I do appreciate the fruits of their labours.

It's just the extended fallout from the Luthier eject. It will blow over in a day or two.

I'm seeing some familiar faces with a stir stick in their hands and some surprising ones.
I didn't support ww2- but I did support mig21... And when I supported it I did so to support the project. I was / am completely uninterested in the mig21- but I support the initiative and the content. I don't even know what the reward / return was... Something I'm not interested in.
Clearly there are people who contribute to these things for two reasons: same as me- or so they can b1tch (because now that they're an investor they're entitled) and get a deal on something they want (from the incentives).
And I am sick to f'n death of the "memmememememememememememe what about me and when I'm done talking about me why don't you talk about me" people. It's astonishing that people wanting to indulge in the mp environment - enough that many spend THOUSANDS to partake- could be so decisively selfish and petty.

Further testing revealed my second PCIe-X16 slot, while having wiggle room works fine.
Issue seems to be with the first graphics card. Thankfully I have the second one, so I'm back to a single 660ti.

OMG! Nuke Plant has been running for almost 24 hours!
I am suspicious of missions with FC3 a/c in them... causing DCS Stopped Working issues.

^^^The best A-10C mission IMHO --- Got into it tonight after 24 hours run time. Had a great time -- raven and I almost took out Nuke Plants 1 & 2 over about 2 hours. The supermarket (centrifuge laboratory) at NP#1 is destroyed and will illuminate the night sky for the next few hours. Nuke Plant #1 is destroyed, NP#2 is almost destroyed. Watch out for the TORs around Nuke Plants 3 & 4. ^^^ Who asked if they could use TORs against Blue recently?  Nuke Plant #2 is ~20% destroyed -- win the battle Blue dogs! WC

Quick question - have you guys seen this when you play MP - the F-15C panels opening when getting refueled/repaired/rearmed?  If so - I need to capture a screen of that for an article I'm writing. I might hop on and join an F-15C game tonight (that should be funny..an attack type guy in a fighter..) to grab explore the Eagle and grab some MP shots. BeachAV8R
